Nicole Kidman wraps up warm in a cosy grey sweater as she greets fans with a huge smile after leaving London theatre with husband Keith Urban

She's been wowing audiences night after night in her acclaimed West End play Photograph 51.

And Nicole Kidman still has her number one fan in the audience as she was once again joined by doting husband Keith Urban as she left the Noel Coward theatre after her performance on Wednesday night.

The 48-year-old Oscar winner kept things simple for her stage door exit, dressed for the chilly London weather in a chunky-knit sweater as she greeted fans gathered outside.

The Aussie actress flashed a big smile for her waiting fans as she exited the theatre hand in hand with her country music star husband.

Nicole looked casual but chic in her cosy grey sweater teamed with skinny jeans and lace-up boots.

A warm black coat finished off the ensemble, while the star swept her strawberry blonde locks up and away from her face.

The stunning star's features were accentuated with a pretty smattering of makeup, with the actress positively glowing after another winning performance as scientist Rosalind Franklin in Anna Ziegler's play.

Despite another long night treading the boards, the Hollywood star happily spent time signing autographs outside the theatre and posing for photos before heading back to her London base with Keith.

Last week Nicole offered a rare insight into her personal life, discussing her divorce from Hollywood star Tom Cruise, with whom she has adopted children Isabella, 22, and Connor, 20.

'Out of my divorce came work that was applauded so that was an interesting thing for me,' she said during a Women in the World summit in London.

However, it also came with its obvious disadvantages and Nicole found herself the 'loneliest she'd ever been' after winning an Oscar for her role in The Hours.

'[The divorce] culminated in winning an Oscar and that caused an epiphany which was, "This isn’t the answer". 'I was holding a gold statue and I was the loneliest I’d ever been.'

Nicole also confessed that she found fulfillment by marrying Keith, the father of her daughters Sunday Rose, seven, and Faith, four.

Discussing her relationship with the country singer, Nicole said: 'We didn’t really know each other – we got to know each other during our marriage.'

However, while Nicole was happy to talk about her own relationships at the summit, she did not speak out on her family's recent happy news after her and Tom's adopted daughter Isabella - known as Bella - tied the knot with British I.T. consultant Max Parker on September 18 in London.

A new report by People Magazine has claimed Nicole was completely unaware her daughter was tying the knot last month.

However the actress is 'very happy for Bella,' a source told the publication.
