Kourtney Kardashian broke up with her partner of nine years, Scott Disick, this summer after she saw photos of him with ex Chloe Bartoli posted by DailyMail.com.

The 36-year-old E! princess has since teared up on her reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians about the pain the party boy has inflicted on her during his wild 'bender.'

But Kim Kardashian's best friend Jonathan Cheban is 'sure' the two will get back together, he told People on Wednesday.

'I'm sure they can work it out,' the founder of the celebrity lifestyle site TheDishh.com, told the site.

'There's three kids, he lives not that far from her.'

Together Scott and Kourtney have three children - Mason, aged five, Penelope, aged three, and Reign, age 10 months.

The former publicist then added, 'Once he gets this out of his system I'm hoping that it will be somewhat back to normal.'

On Wednesday, UsWeekly reported Scott had hit 'rock bottom.'

The weekly claimed he was mixing cocaine with Ativan and Xanax.

It was added that he was drinking a lot of alcohol and a source said Scott felt he was not thinking clearly any longer.

And even with all of Scott's bad behavior, Jonathan thinks Kourtney belongs with him.

'They're really the best together. They're perfect together,' he said.

'So with anybody else it would be like weird. At this point it's hard to get with our program. I'm hoping everything works out.'

On Wednesday E! News reported that Scott had checked into a rehab facility in Malibu over the weekend. Disick was last seen shopping for groceries in LA on Tuesday, which the site did not explain.

Jonathan did not address Scott possibly being in rehab, even though he posted E!'s report on his own site.

Cheban added that Kourtney is 'pretty forgiving.'

In their nine year relationship, their ups and downs have been documented on their various reality shows and it does indeed seem that the matriarch tends to forgive Scott for his wild ways.

Cheban also said that he does not give Disick advice because the Lord - as he calls himself - tends to go against it.

'If you tell him not to then there will be two more 18-year-olds,' Cheban said.

Scott was seen with an 18-year-old model in New York City and Miami in September.

'Those 18-year-olds are all in it for pictures on the beach. It doesn't necessarily mean that anything is going on.'

And the Dishh.com owner added that people get close to the family for fame.

'We're used to all of that. We know every trick in the book. We've been around a long time. Everybody loves the attention,' he added.

On Tuesday evening, Khloe's husband Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel after an overdose of herbal Viagra and cocaine, it has been claimed by TMZ. He is now in a coma with Kim, Khloe and Kourtney, as well as momager Kris Jenner, 59, by his side.
