Despite the inevitable heartbreak of recent months, she's looking more relaxed and happier than ever.

Jennifer Garner had a smile on her face and a spring in her step as she ran errands in Brentwood on Wednesday.

The 43-year-old actress, who split with husband Ben Affleck - also 43 - in June, looked youthful in a flirty blue print skirt and a cream sweater.

The cute youngest of the couple's three children seemed to be keeping his mum on her toes as they stepped out.

She covered her eyes with dark glasses and showed off her natural beauty fresh-faced and make-up free with her ombre locks in loose waves.

Ben and Jen - who were married for a decade - are also parents to daughters Violet, nine and Seraphina, six.

They announced their intention to divorce one day before their tenth anniversary.

Reports suggest the reason behind the break-up was that Ben had been unfaithful with the family nanny, 28-year-old Christine Ouzounian.

Ben has denied this and while they are now estranged, the actor has been living on the family's property - albeit in a guest house - to be closer to the children and they have been seen on outings together.
