While Australian fans would love to see more of Rose Byrne Down Under, it looks like the actress will be staying put in the US for now.

The 36-year-old film star and partner Bobby Cannavale, 45, have bought a house in the New York borough of Brooklyn for a reported $2.2 million.

The three-bedroom townhouse, located on Warren Street, has plenty of space for the celebrity couple to indulge in a comfortable and luxurious lifestyle in the Boerum Hill neighbourhood.

Rose and Bobby have been happily dating since 2012 after first meeting on the set of the remake of Annie.

Earlier this year brunette beauty Rose spoke to Who magazine about working with her lover in films.

'Making a film is an intense experience,' The Spy star told the publication.

They pair who are based in New York, have also appeared in films together including Adult Beginners.
