So it's no surprise Demi Lovato has reached for the concealer in a bid to hide her no doubt tired eyes, though it looked like the 23-year-old beauty slightly overdone it during a night out in New York City on Wednesday.

Surrounded by photographers with unforgiving flashes, the bright lights brought attention to Demi's powdery white under-eyes which sat against her otherwise bronzed skin and rouged cheeks.

Apart from her beauty blunder, Demi looked very demure as she stepped out in New York on Wednesday night.

The former Disney star left her out-there ensembles at home for a look which was perfect for the unpredictable nature of fall.

The Cool For The Summer hit-maker headed out in a pair of dark skinny leg jeans with a white top under a white cardigan that featured a cascading neckline.

By wearing lots of layers, the star ensured she was perfectly comfortable outside and could quickly adjust for warmer inside temperatures if needed.
