The Kardashians have been rallying around Khloe as she deals with the 'overwhelming' duty of making medical decisions for Lamar Odom while he fights for his life in a coma.

Kim and Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie and Kris were seen leaving Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas on Thursday after visiting the former NBA star, who collapsed in a brothel on Tuesday following a four-day Viagra and cocaine bender.

The family, who were all dressed in black, looked grim-faced as they headed out of the hospital and were later seen boarding a private jet, while Khloe - who is said to be feeling guilt over the situation - remained by Lamar's side.

According to TMZ, Kim, Kourtney, Kylie and Kris are returning to Los Angeles because Kim has a meeting with a pregnancy specialist because she allegedly has a condition in which her placenta is growing into her uterus too deeply.

The website reports that the family plan to return to Las Vegas to visit Lamar again this weekend.

Kendall meanwhile, who was in Shanghai for fashion week when Lamar collapsed, is apparently in London and flying to Las Vegas to join Khloe.

It emerged on Wednesday that Khloe and Lamar's divorce was never finalised, and as she is still legally his wife, she can - and has been - making medical decisions on his behalf.

'She never dreamed that she'd have these responsibilities, and it's just so overwhelming and unexpected,' a source told People.

'Khloe is not doing well at all with the responsibilities of making medical decisions.'

A source who spoke with E! News says that doctors found 'virtually every drug imaginable' in the 35-year-old's system. Other sources told TMZ that he suffered multiple strokes, is on kidney dialysis and has just a 50/50 chance of survival and will likely suffer brain damage.

While 31-year-old Khloe's family have been by her side, they are said to be leaving the difficult decisions up to her, but supporting her and helping out where possible.

Kris in particular is giving her advice, the insider said.

Khloe - who filed for divorce from Lamar in December 2013 - is also allegedly feeling guilt over what happened to him.

'Khloe is facing some guilt issues with this,' People's source claimed. 'She wonders if there was anything more she should have done. Kim has told her that this isn't her fault.'

After Odom's collapse on Tuesday, Khloe, Kim and Kris rushed to the hospital, while Kourtney and Kylie caught a private jet to join them the following afternoon.

While doctors are worried about his failing kidneys and possible brain damage from a stroke, a source close to the family told Entertainment Tonight that Odom gave them hope when he fluttered his eyes and squeezed Kim's hand.

According to E! News, heavily pregnant Kim has cancelled her baby shower, which was planned for this weekend, in the wake of Lamar's hospitalization.

On Thursday, Kylie used social media for the first time since learning of Lamar's collapse, sharing a black and white photo to Instagram which showed them dancing in a car.

'Let's dance again together soon. Prayers up for Lamar please,' she pleaded with fans, later posting a video of them dancing.

Kourtney followed suit shortly afterwards by sharing a photo of Lamar and her son Mason, now five. 'Believing in the power of prayer for this beautiful soul,' she wrote alongside the sweet snapshot.

On Wednesday afternoon, Kris had also asked her followers to keep the former NBA star in their thoughts, sharing a photo of him on Instagram with the caption: 'Please pray for Lamar #ourfighter.'

Even the Kardashians' brother Rob, who has become a recluse in recent years is said to be by Lamar's side.

Kylie has since resumed work tweets about her subscription based app and website, writing on Thursday afternoon: 'Tune into Kylie radio today in 30 mins. @jordynwoods is taking over. #airjordyn. She's also gonna take live calls.'

The teen suddenly interrupted a live video stream on Tuesday night after just 11 minutes, simply telling her fans on Twitter: 'Had to end my live stream. I love you guys.'

Meanwhile Kendall Jenner tweeted: 'Please don't go.'

As the Kardashian clan have been sticking by Lamar's side, the 19-year-old remains in Shanghai after jetting to China for the city's fashion week.

'Everyone has dropped everything to get there, a source told People. 'There are a lot of calls and texts going back and forth as everyone is figuring out how they can help and be there for each other.

'They are asking their close friends to pray for Lamar, for healing and strength. There is confusion about his condition, and they don't know the extent of his injuries, but I'll tell you this: they wouldn't just drop everything unless it was serious. The family has been told that this isn't just a minor thing; that it was extremely serious.'

Two prostitutes found Lamar unconscious with liquid coming out of his mouth on Tuesday afternoon, in a VIP house attached to Dennis Hof's Love Ranch, a legal brothel in Pahrump, Nevada.

After being found, Lamar had been taken by ambulance to the nearby Desert View Hospital, where doctors intubated the basketball player, but he did not regain consciousness.

He then had to be taken to the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas by ambulance for further treatment because at 6ft 10in he was too tall to be airlifted.

His former LA Lakers team mate Kobe Bryant has also been seen visiting the Sunrise Hospital after leaving his team's game against the Sacramento Kings early last night.

Hof told E! News that Odom was in high spirits when he picked the athlete up at his LA gated community on Saturday, but says he became 'bummed' after receiving a phone call on Sunday.

TMZ reports that the phone call was related to his portrayal on the reality show Keeping up with the Kardashians, and that after taking the call he became 'irate' and remained inconsolable up until he was found unconscious.

According to E!, the last time someone saw Odom alert was at 6am on Tuesday, when a prostitute woke him up to tell him she was leaving. That source also said that no illicit drugs were found in the room.

Hof says that over the weekend, Odom consumed 10 herbal Viagra pills and two-thirds of a bottle of cognac. Other sources told TMZ though that Odom was popping 8 to 10 of these pills at a time, and that he used regular Viagra as well.

While Viagra is a widely used and general safe drug, it does come with some rare side effects that can cause low blood pressure, heart attack and even stroke.

Lamar and Khloe married in 2009 following a whirlwind romance just a few weeks after meeting.

The former couple signed divorce papers in July, but in order for the divorce to be finalized, a judge would have had to sign the final judgement documents.

A representative for the Los Angeles Superior Court told Us Weekly on Wednesday that a judgement is yet to be entered into court, meaning that the divorce is not official.

While the Kardashian's rally around Lamar his estranged father Joe claimed his son was drugged.

He told Hollywood Life: 'Somebody drugged my son. There’s no way he’s down there partying crazy like that. No way. I knew something was wrong because I’ve been calling him all day and he hasn’t been answering.

'I need all his fans to send him well wishes. If Khloe knows anything about this, please, tell her to call me. We all love Lamar and want him to pull through this.'
