Fright night! Demi Lovato, Zoe Saldana and Josh Hutcherson get spooky thrill joining other famous faces at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights

Demi Lovato was one of the celebrities who was treated to a creepy thrill at Universal Studios new Halloween Horror Nights attractions.

The Cool For The Summer singer got into the spooky spirit with a visit to the park's six Halloween horror mazes and scary fright zones on Saturday.

Demi appeared to be enjoying the thrill, putting her hands to her face in shock as she was surrounded by mutant bugs from the 'exterminatriz' section, which is full of toxic insects hell-bent on revenge against humanity.

The former Disney star went for a casual look as she stopped by the iconic studios on Sunday.

Demi looked cute in a black cap, and wore appropriate Halloween colors in a black sweatshirt with orange lettering.

The 23-year-old was surrounded by blood-spattered mutants and bugs, who showed off their terrifying chainsaws and sledgehammers.

Guardians of The Galaxy star Zoe Saldana also visited the Universal City theme park on Saturday.

The actress got into the spirit, painting her face as a scary skeleton as she visited with her sisters Cisely and Mariel Saldana.

The 37-year-old later shared a family selfie on Twitter, writing 'So last night we were @HorrorNights.'

'Don't know about you guys but we had a blast!'

Handsome Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson also was spotted looking terrified at Halloween Horror Nights on Sunday.

The actor, who celebrated his 23rd birthday on Monday, wore a black T- shirt as he tangled with some knife-wielding mutants.

Later Josh - who will reprise his role as Peeta Mellark in Mockingjay Part 2 later this year - also shared a photo from inside the park on Twitter.

'Got the hell scared out of me @HorrorNights', he wrote. 'Had a blast though.'

British singer Leona Lewis also visited the attractions, and appeared surprised to run into a deformed insect with a chainsaw and terrifyingly sharp teeth.

The 30-year-old wore her light brown hair in soft curls, and added an edge with a rocker leather jacket.

The annual Halloween Horror Nights attraction features scary experiences like The Walking Dead zombie maze, which recreates the most terrifying moments of the hit AMC show.

Other creepy mazes are based on movies Crimson Peak, Insidious, Halloween, This Is The End, and Alien vs Predator. The park also has 'scare zones' with the themes of Dark Christmas, ghoulish World War I corpses, and a scary section based on crime free-for-all movie The Purge.

And of course, there are the toxic mutant insects roaming the streets.

Actor Wayne Brady swung by Halloween Horror Nights on Tuesday, and later admitted on Twitter: 'I may have screamed like a Lil girl 2 or 5 times.'

The Let's Make A Deal host grimaced as he was accosted by a giant insect in a blood-spattered shirt, who waved a menacing wrench in his face. 

Also visiting the Halloween attractions was singer Pia Mia, who wore a cute pink bandana and admirably kept her cool as a vicious mutant bug appeared behind her.

The Do It Again singer wore her blonde hair in pigtail braids, and flashed her midriff in a white camisole. 

Model Chanel Iman and her NBA Lakers player boyfriend Jordan Clarkson also tried their luck at the spooky park this week.

The former Victoria's Secret Angel, 22, flashed a big smile as she put her arms around two of the park's freaky residents.

Chanel, who has graced the cover of Vogue and walked the runway for Balenciaga, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, and Stella McCartney, looked effortlessly stylish in a black hat. 

Basketball player Clarkson wore a red baseball cap and a Star Wars Tshirt as they posed with the terrifying creatures.

Singer Tori Kelly also tangled with blood-spattered mutants at the park on Saturday.

The Nobody Love singer wore two French side braids and tied a plaid shirt around her waist as she made her way through the spooky attractions.

The cast of new NBC sitcom Truth Be Told also visited the blood-curdling attractions this week.

Vanessa Lachey and Mark-Paul Gosselaar and costars Tone Bell and Bresha Webb outnumbered the evil mutants, but still appeared terrified as they were surrounded.

John Stamos and the cast of his new FOX sitcom Grandfathered also tangled with some terrifying creatures as they visited Halloween Horror Nights.

And The Fast And The Furious actor Luke Evans also visited Universal Studios this week, but skipped the Halloween events.

Instead, the Welsh actor tried out the new Fast & Furious - Supercharged ride, which he is featured in.

The actor, who will play baddie Gaston opposite Emma Watson in Disney's upcoming live-action Beauty And The Beast, looked handsome in a simple grey Armani Tshirt.
