Time of their life! Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough recreate iconic Dirty Dancing lake scene as they rehearse for DWTS

They are leading the scoreboard and now preparing to wow judges again in week six of Dancing With The Stars.

And Bindi Irwin, 17 and partner Derek Hough have chosen classic 1987 romance Dirty Dancing as the inspiration for their next performance and are naturally hard at work rehearsing for the big night.

On Friday, the duo impressively reenacted a famous scene from the iconic eighties flick where heartthrob Patrick Swayze launches Jennifer Grey out of a lake and holds her above his head.

The duo seemed to have perfect form as Bindi was pictured keeping her balance almost horizontally with arms out-stretched as Derek stayed rigid.

Bindi teamed a white tank top and trousers and Derek in a black tank and jeans as they chose a Los Angeles pond to practice their moves.

Derek shared his own snap of the moment on Instagram side-by-side with the original and captioned it: 'What an honor to pay homage to this iconic dance film. 'Nobody puts Bindi in the corner.' #teamcrikey #timeofmylife @bindisueirwin'
