While this weekend was supposed to be a time to celebrate new life for Kim Kardashian, the expecting mum-of-one will instead be among family willing for her brother-in-law's survival.

Kim, 34, has reportedly cancelled her Beverly Hills baby shower at the last minute to support sister as the Kardashians hold vigil for Khloe's estranged husband Lamar Odom, 35, in Las Vegas.

Pregnant Kim, who already has two-year-old daughter North with husband Kanye West, was expected to throw the celebration this weekend but was seen arriving at Nevada's Sunrise Hospital on Wednesday following the former NBA player's collapse at a legal brothel.

Priorities: Kim Kardashian has reportedly cancelled a baby shower that she was planning for her second child this weekend, to be by brother-in-law Lamar Odom's side

A source told E ! News that family is currently Kim's priority, explaining: 'She's totally focused on being there for Khloé right now.'

Khloe and Lamar separated nearly two years ago following four years of marriage and even though they recently signed court papers together, their divorce is still said to be 'pending'.

Kim's big sister Khloe is now said to be making his medical decisions as his legal spouse while he fights for his life following suspected consumption of 10 herbal Viagra.

Fighting for his life: Lamar Odom, who is still officially married to Kim's sister Khloe Kardashian despite them signing divorce papers, is hospitalised at Nevada's Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas after taking 10 herbal Viagra

Kim's baby shower was due to be held at the family's Beverly Hills home; the same place that Khloé and Lama held their September 2009 nuptials and where the E! television show Keeping Up With The Kardashians was originally based.

E! reports that the shower would follow a wilderness theme in line with the 1989 adventure comedy Troop Of Beverly Hills.

In June 2013, Kim held her baby shower for North at pal Shelli Azoff's home and it was attended by the whole family, as well as Mel B, Kelly Osborne, Maria Menounos, Kimberly Stewart and Nene Leaks.

Expecting: Kim is pregnant with her second child, a boy, and is thought to be due in December 2015

Lamar, along with Khloe, were guests of honour at the Grecian themed event, just six months before Khloe filed for divorce from the basketball player.

Kim is currently around seven months pregnant and thought to be due to give birth to a boy on Christmas Day, December 25, 2015, if reports are to be believed.

She's calling her second child a 'miracle' after struggling to conceive again with husband-of-one-year Kanye.

The beauty recently called pregnancy 'the worst experience of my life' on her app, admitting that she will be pleased when the birth is over.
