Embrace the asymmetrical look with a black dress like Laura

Her character on the British TV drama, Downton Abbey, is known to wear loose fitting long frocks. But in real life, Laura Carmichael takes a much more modern approach to fashion.

The English actress wore a dress from Christopher Kane's Spring 2016 collection on the red carpet at the BFI London Film Festival.

The one-shoulder number had a cutout design and a wavy asymmetrical hemline that was trimmed in orange. The statuesque blonde teamed it with a pair of strappy patent leather pumps that flaunted her long, slender legs.

Emulate Laura's look with a dress from the carousel below. From Stella McCartney to Charlotte Russe we've got all budgets covered. Style with some black stilettos and you'll look like an A-lister on your next night out.
