I'm On Fire! Bruce Springsteen, 66, and Patti Scialfa, 62, were spotted putting on an affectionate display as they stepped out in New York on Wednesday
The couple that dresses together: The duo opted for a casual rocker chic style, with 'The Boss' attired in black t-shirt, dark washed jeans, black lace-up boots, and a slate gray jacket
Born In The USA singer Springsteen was clad in a black t-shirt, dark washed jeans, black lace-up boots, and a slate gray jacket.
Scialfa, meanwhile, was sleek and sexy, clad entirely in black, with top, cloth jacket, skin tight leather pants with zippered pockets, and suede ankle boots all matching.
The couple first met in 1980, when both were burgeoning singers on the New Jersey music scene.
It was a rocky path for the rocker couple when the two initially met, prior to Springsteen's breakout success. The pair first came together at a New Jersey bar called The Stone Pony - a popular performance venue for local musicians. Sclalfa was performing alongside another Springsteen associate, Bobby Bandiera.
The Boss, intrigued by Scialfa's sound, introduced himself, and soon the pair were keeping frequent company.

On and off: It was a rocky path for the rocker couple when the two first met in the early 1980, prior to Springsteen's breakout success. A relationship was in the cards, but only after Springsteen met actress Julianna Phillips. The two reunited following Springsteen's divorce in 1988
Scialfa joined Springsteen's E Street Band in 1984, prior to the launch of the their fabled Born in The USA tour. Yet wedding bells were not to be heard for the couple, as model and actress Julianna Phillips caught The Boss' eye soon after.
Phillips, whose credits include the movie Fletch Lives, as well as the Nineties TV hit Sisters, can be seen at the end of Springsteen's 1985 Glory Days video.
The two were married later that year, but the union was short lived.

Scialfa was once again aboard for Springsteen's 1988's Tunnel Of Love Express tour, and, this time, their friendship blossomed into love. The couple began living together soon after Springsteen's separation from Phillips.
The pair relocated to Los Angeles in 1990, with an eye toward starting a family.
Scialfa gave birth to the couple's first child, Evan James Springsteen, in July of 1990, and the couple were married, in a private ceremony, less than a year later.
Springsteen and Scialfa have since welcomed two other children, Jessica Rae, born 1991, and Samuel Ryan, born 1994.
Daughter Jessica is a nationally-ranked show jumping champion, having represented the US in the Show Jumping World Cup, as well as the 2012 FEI World Cup.
Springsteen and Scialfa now own and live on a horse farm in Colts Neck, New Jersey, but the two were recently spotted in Los Angeles, in attendance for daughter Jessica's ride at the Second Annual Longines Masters.
