Back together? Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth pictured hand-in-hand in LA as they reunite days after his very public arrest in Texas

Troubled Hollywood star Shia LaBeouf was spotted back in LA following his arrest for public intoxication in Texas last week, walking hand-in-hand with actress Mia Goth.

The pair, who were believed to have got engaged in March, haven't been seen in public with each other for more than two months, sparking split rumours.

But on Tuesday Mia, 22, was still wearing the large diamond ring she began wearing on her left hand finger in the spring as she and the actor, 29, went for a stroll in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood.

The seemingly on-again couple stepped out to grab coffee and never let go of the other's hand even as they each carried a cup of the hot brew.

Goth wore a tiny black tank top and low-slung floral pants that exposed her bare midriff.

Her long hair, which falls almost to her waist, was left loose.

LaBeouf, meanwhile, had on a Harley Davidson t-shirt and brown shorts that were cut above the knee and revealed his lower thigh tattoos.

The following day he was spotted solo making his way to the gym, seemingly in the same outfit he was arrested in.

The Transformers star and the English actress met on the set of the film Nymphomaniac.

In July, during a visit to the German set of Goth's movie A Cure For Wellness, the pair got into a nasty fight, caught on camera, which escalated to the point where LaBeouf told bystanders he 'would have killed' his girlfriend had they not intervened.

In August, the Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps star was photographed hanging out a lot with actress Sasha Lane, his American Honey co-star, prompting speculation the two were dating.

Tuesday's outing is the first time LaBeouf has been spotted since he was taken into custody in Austin on Friday night after being stopped by police for jaywalking.

He hasn't commented publicly on his arrest.

However, on Wednesday he mysteriously tweeted: 'All my life, I seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.'

In a police report following the incident, the officer described the 29-year-old as being verbally aggressive and confrontational and he smelled of alcohol.

As he became more agitated, LaBeouf began threatening an onlooker who was recording the scene on cell phone video.

The cop said he was forced to intervene to protect the bystander at which point the actor got in his face and challenged him to 'do whatever the f*** you gotta do.'

He was then arrested and handcuffed for being 'a danger to himself and others' and charged with public intoxication, a misdemeanor. He was booked into a local jail and later released.

The incident report was later released by police, although heavily redacted.

It shows that once police realised who he was and noticed the crowd starting to grow around him, they placed him in the back of the car 'to allow him a level of privacy'.

It also reveals the arresting officer determined he was 'a danger to himself and others due to his level on intoxication'.

Curiously it also notes the type of 'weapons' he was armed with and attempted to use: his hands and feet.
