Mother-to-be Lauren Bush Lauren in just a few weeks away from her due date, but that isn't stopping the 31-year-old from slowing down her social schedule.

Lauren, who is due to give birth to her first child with husband David Lauren, next month, showed off her bulging baby bump while enjoying an evening out at father-in-law Ralph Lauren's 76th birthday party on Wednesday night.

The niece of former President George W Bush dressed the bump in an olive green tunic-style dress, which showcased her slender legs, as she hit up the bash with husband David, 44, who is the son of the fashion icon.

Pairing her simple frock with a blue overcoat and suede booties, the philanthropist looked relaxed and casual as she entered the fete.

Lauren and David, who married in the Rocky Mountains in 2011, announced they were having a baby via Instagram in late July.

Sharing a sweet photo of her and David gazing into each other's eyes in Big Sur, California, the former mode wrote: 'We feel blessed and excited to welcome our little one to the world this November! #babymoon.'

David, who is the youngest son of Ralph and Ricky Ann Loew-Beer, 57, was also casually dressed for the soiree, wearing a tweed vest and jeans.
