Dakota, Rounds' and O'Donnell's adopted daughter, is currently at the center of the couple's bitter divorce battle, with Rounds pushing for sole custody after disagreeing with O'Donnell's hands-off parenting style

O'Donnell was reported to have been her savior on that occasion after keeping her on the telephone long enough for medics and police to get to her.

TMZ reported that O'Donnell had tried to talk Rounds out of her plan and when she realized that she was going through with it, had someone else make a 911 call while she stayed on the phone.

Rounds, a corporate headhunter, was previously pictured in Nyack, New York, just days after she was reportedly taken to hospital, while friends told Mail Online that she was doing 'pretty good'.

On that occasion she spent much of the time making and taking telephone calls and one stage left her friend alone for 15 minutes as she spoke into her mobile.

When Daily Mail Online wished her a speedy recovery as she got up to leave she said: 'Thank you. But I will never, ever give an interview.'

Today she was spotted out taking a brief stroll before also making a trip to FedEx store.

Rounds, who married The View host Rosie O'Donnell back in 2012 after a year of dating, is currently locked in a bitter divorce battle with her after the pair split in November last year.

Rounds had been attempting to get sole custody of Dakota, the daughter they adopted in January 2013 , saying D'Onnell's hands-off parenting style was hurting the girl's development.

However, sources have since told Mail Online that sole custody was in fact granted to O'Donnell, though she does still allow Rounds to see the girl.

Rounds is O'Donnell's second wife after she split from Kelli Carpenter back in 2007.

O'Donnell and Carpenter were married in San Fransisco, but their union was among thousands annulled by the California Supreme Court, so they never divorced.

While Rounds had been attempting to get sole custody of Dakota, a source has since told Mail Online that O'Donnell has in fact been declared her sole guardian, but allows Rounds to keep seeing the girl

O'Donnell has four children from that previous marriage, including daughter Chelsea, who was reported missing earlier this year, though has since insisted she was thrown out of the house.

Rounds began dating O'Donnell  back in 2011, and after a short romance, the TV host announced their engagement on her show.

They adopted Dakota a year later, before splitting in November 2014, starting their divorce battle earlier this year which has yet to resolve itself.

O'Donnell was reported to have been dating Tatum O'Neal for four months since her split with Rounds, though according to People they split yesterday.

A source said: 'It wasn't working. In their four months together, they went through a lot: Rosie's father died, her daughter [Chelsea] ran away, there was a lot of of tumult. It was too much.'

O'Donnell has always denied that the couple were ever an item.
