Batman's boy loves Spider-Man! Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's son carries superhero toy on outing with the actress
His father Ben Affleck will be playing Batman in the highly anticipated movie Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, which will hit theaters in 2016.
But on Friday Samuel chose to promote two other mega franchises - Spider-Man and Star Wars - when he carried a red Spidey doll and wore a T-shirt featuring R2D2.
Meanwhile, his mother Jennifer Garner - who split from the 43-year-old Oscar winner this summer - looked to be in good spirits as she strolled ring free while carrying her little boy's Star Wars lunch box.

The Alias vet at first wore her gold band on her wedding finger, then moved it to her center finger. Now it appears to be completely gone.
Affleck, who has reportedly been living in a rental not far from the family's Pacific Palisades estate (which is up for sale), was not seen.
In the past, Samuel has worn Batman T-shirts to support his father. In 2014 he wore one to a Farmer's Market in LA.

The 13 Going On 30 vet wore her signature look - a T-shirt (this time black) and jeans. Grey and pink trainers made her look as if she had just worked out.
She had on no makeup and wore her hair back. Glasses rested on the Dallas Buyers Club star's head.
Her next film is Miracles From Heaven with Martin Henderson. She also has been filming Nine Lives with Kevin Spacey.
Earlier this week E! News reported Jennifer and Ben having been going to church together, and the idea was hers. They are also in therapy.
'On the weekends they spend a lot of family time together with outings to the farmers market and church,' the insider told E!.
'He is definitely going along with what she wants and doing the best he can to fix things,' the source explained.
However, other sources told the website that Garner, 43, has not forgiven him for his alleged affair with their former nanny Christine Ouzounian, 28.
E! claims that the church going and family outings to farmers markets and karate classes are all due to the actress' commitment to keeping things 'normal' for her children.

Ben chatted up his Batman film in July when he talked to Empire.
'[Director Zack Snyder] pitched me his concept for this older, more broken, kind of f***ed up Batman,' he said.
'It was something we haven't seen. We have seen that Batman is willing to cross the line to protect people. That vigilantism has been a part of his character all along, and we are tapping into that mentality when faced by something as potentially as deadly as Superman.'
Snyder told the magazine that Affleck's version of the character is 45 or 46 years old, and is 'having a crisis of conscience' after losing everyone near and dear to him.
The director-producer added: 'We want to assume that Batman has reached this point in his life and career as a superhero, and Superman represents a sort of philosophical change.'
