The ultimate fan-girl! Blonde bombshell Penelope Cruz straddles Bono as she and husband Javier Bardem join U2 onstage in Barcelona

It is certainly not what U2's Spanish fans were expecting during last week's gig.

Yet Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem stunned concertgoers when they jumped onstage and put on a raucous display during a gig at Barcelona's Palau Sant Jordi sports arena.

The 41-year-old actress - sporting a platinum blonde wig and bunny ears - put on a playful display with frontman Bono as her husband Javier, 46, looked hilarious in a blue feather boa and glittery cowboy hat.

Penelope put her famous assets on display in a pair of skintight black jeans, which perfectly flaunted her pert derrière while she upped the sex appeal even further with a pair of suede thigh-high boots.

The Vanilla Sky star, who married Javier in 2010, wore a loose black camisole, which was knotted at the hip while the only splash of colour in the ensemble was her crimson manicure.

Adding a touch of whimsy to the look, Penelope sported the bouncy blonde wig which boasted a heavy fringe while topping off the fun look with a pair of bunny ears.

Javier was equally playful in his glittering cowboy hat and cornflower blue feather boa while he gyrated against Bono.

She then stood astride Bono while he performed lying on the floor and took pictures of him from a birds-eye perspective.

After Penelope had taken her pictures it seemed she decided it was her turn in front of the camera and posed while The Edge snapped pictures of her.

Arriving minus his boa or hat, he looked classically handsome in a suit jacket and jeans with an open-necked shirt which gave the look a casual feel.

He was joined at the ceremony by Dean and Dan Caten - the founders of fashion brand DSQUARED2.
