And Lady Gaga appeared to have matched her outfit to her vehicle as she left the plush Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood on Thursday.

Chatting on her mobile phone as she hopped inside the car, the 29-year-old singer was sporting a gold silk shirt and cream high-waisted pants, which she teamed with a zany pair of circular sunglasses.

Wearing her platinum blonde locks swept back from her face in a tight ponytail, Mother Monster looked typically preened to perfection for her upmarket luncheon outing.

The Bad Romance hitmaker - real name Stefani Germanotta - stepped out as she revealed she wants to reach out to help young people who are emotionally suffering in America

Discussing her Born This Way foundation with Billboard magazine, Gaga - who appeared on the cover of the music monthly with Sir Elton John - discussed her own troubled past as a way to relate with today's youth.

'I’ve suffered through depression and anxiety my entire life, I still suffer with it every single day,' the blonde crooner admitted. 'I just want these kids to know that the depth they feel as human beings is normal. We were born that way.'

The beauty then took a dig at social media.

'This modern thing, where everyone is feeling shallow and less connected? I's not human,' the Alejandro singer said. 'Depression and anxiety really link them.'

And the Poker Face star feels there is something sad about how young people no longer socialize in person.

'There is something in the way that we are now, with our cell phones and people are not looking at each other and not being in the moment with each other, that kids feel isolated,' Gaga explained.

'They read all of this extremely hateful language on the Internet. The internet is a toilet. It is. It used to be a fantastic resource - but you have to sort through sh** to find the good stuff.'

She blames the internet: 'There is something in the way that we are now, with our cell phones and people are not looking at each other and not being in the moment with each other,' Gaga explained; here she is seen in August

And the New York native feels something needs to be done.

'These kids just want to feel human, but they feel like robots,' said the fiancee of Taylor Kinney.

'They don’t understand why they’re so sad. There are scientific reasons, which the foundation researches, why you feel sad when you look at your phone all day.'

She also gushed about her cover co-star Elton, a longtime friend.

'He inspires me in ways I could not even begin to list properly,' she started.

'He is my friend, he is like a parent. He looks out for me, he was there for me during the hardest times in my life.'

'He doesn't allow me to slip into depression without making sure that I’m OK,' she added.

'Everything he has done for AIDS, everything he has done for the LGBT community. He's just everything - when I’m with him, I just want to help be a part of his genius plan to save the world.'

She said she felt he 'really, deeply cared' about the bullying crisis in the US.

'I hear from [White House senior adviser] Valerie Jarrett a lot. Even with Til It Happens To You, Valerie said, “This video was hard to watch, but I liked how graphic [the approach] was.” That’s another thing Born This Way does: Rape survivors, abuse survivors come to us.'
