Hair chameleon Zendaya rocks high-top fade in high-fashion homage to Grace Jones

Hair chameleon Zendaya Coleman channelled the legendary disco-rock diva Grace Jones, thanks to a wig crafted by Larry Sims.

'It was an old style, a high-top fade,' the LA-based hairstylist told Mane Addicts.

'It was an homage to the era Zendaya grew up in. She's so in tune with what's new, what's fashion, but the high-top fade is so left from what she's done before.'

The 5ft10in millennial - who was born in 1996 - admitted the whole idea came from Law Roach, her stylist/creative director/Daya footwear designer.

'When I do my hair, it's usually a collaboration with me and Law,' Zendaya - who boasts her own Barbie - told the site. 'It all comes from his brain.'
