And while they're both known for their ability to put on a spectacle, it looked like one queen had been taking performance tips from the other as Madonna rocked a Beyonce-style moment as she performed to a packed house in Vancouver on Wednesday night.

Putting on a provocative show, the 57-year-old singer bent down onstage in a suggestive fashion and put her face to a blowing fan prompting the eruption of her signature blonde locks, which were styled into unruly curls - a look often sported by the Single Ladies crooner.

Showing off her racy dance moves, the singing sensation put on a busty display in a tight black vest top as she sexily lifted her shirt away from her torso to reveal her ample cleavage in all of its glory.

The Living For Love hit-maker opened and close her toned thighs as she paraded across the stage, before turning up the heat even more and gyrating with hunky male dancers.

Another move saw the scantily-clad star bend over to reveal her pert posterior in a pair of black knicker shorts, which were dripping with crystals, as a suited man reached out to caress her leg.

Another man who seemed to be enjoying Madonna's daring show was her ex-husband Sean Penn, who was seen standing right next to Trainwreck star Amy Schumer, 34, in the audience.

It was just last month that the comedienne realized a lifelong dream by opening for Madonna with her standup comedy act.

And Schumer proved she really is a fan of the Like A Virgin singer as she attended another concert, this time simply as an admirer.

But it seems that Madonna is able to see the funny side of her rocky first marriage to Penn, as she told an audience last month in Brooklyn about a recent encounter with the actor.

Sitting astride a stool, clutching a ukulele, she mused over Penn coming to see her show at Madison Square Garden.

The candid chat was captured by Madonna TV, as she explained it was the second time he has watched her show there - and the previous time was during their marriage and caused an argument.

'I did a show at Madison Square Garden the other night if you heard about it. And my ex-husband was there! Could you imagine?' she said incredulously, to the crowd at the Barclays Center.

'He had been at my show 30 years earlier when I was at Madison Square Garden, and he was very upset with me for wearing a costume that was too revealing. That's not a lie!' she added, which prompted laughs from the audience.

'Anyway, after the show he wrote me a letter and said he finally appreciates my art, ' the star confessed with a coy smile.

To rousing applause, the twice-divorced star concluded: 'And that is what I have to say about marriage, OK? Thirty f**king years later.'

Sean was spotted looking relaxed and adoringly at his ex-wife last week as he sat front centre stage as Madge performed True Blue on her second night at the iconic NYC venue.
