She was spotted partying with rumoured new love interest Nick Jonas into the early hours of Friday morning.

Which perhaps explained the broad smile on Kate Hudson’s face as she left her New York City hotel later that day.

The 36-year-old shot to fame after playing Penny Lane in 1970s-set Almost Famous, but she was having a 1980s moment on Friday afternoon.

Kate wore double denim in the form of flared jeans and a matching jacket slung over her shoulder, along with a red off-the-shoulder top.

The actress also sported a pair of indigo platform sandals and a snakeskin handbag, and piled her blonde hair in a top knot.

If she was feeling tired after her late night the previous evening, Kate didn’t show it.

After attending an event on Thursday, Kate changed into a racy outfit and hotfooted it over to Up & Down nightclub, where she met up with 23-year-old Nick.

The pair were first linked last month when they were spotted enjoying a low-key date at Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida.

Since then, former Disney star Nick has insisted that he is single, but added he is ‘definitely dating’ when grilled by People last week.
