Supermodel Gigi Hadid hit up her usual boxing studio at Gotham Gym in New York's West Village on Thursday.

The 20-year-old was spotted throwing some serious punches while she sparred with the gym's owner and trainer, Rob Piela. Dressed in atypical workout attire, Hadid wore an oversized white sweater with a black trimmed deep v-neckline.

The girlfriend of Joe Jonas seemed to forget to slip on her protective headgear, however, leaving herself vulnerable for an injury.

The Sports Illustrated model looked flawless with barely there makeup and swept her golden locks back for the intense workout which highlighted her exquisite face.

The blonde beauty sported her own custom black boxing gloves with her name embossed in white along the side.

Hadid has admitted boxing is her favorite workout in an interview with Elle this past February.

'It's the only workout I do. I do it every day that I'm in New York and not working,' she revealed.

'Sara Sampaio introduced me to Rob Piela at Gotham Gym and since then he has become like my big brother,' she confessed. 'Everyone at Gotham Gym is my big brother. It's like my second home.'

'I love being there. Even when I'm sick, I'll go in and bring them something and just hang out at the gym, even if I'm not working out because I love being there.'

The statuesque model has strutted her stuff down the catwalks for Chanel, Marc Jacobs and Versace however Hadid's toned physique takes hard work.

Gigi confessed she has a love of junk food as she opened up in an interview with Into The Gloss last year.

'I lived in a tour bus with my boyfriend in Europe, sleeping in bunk beds and eating McDonald's every day,' she admitted. 'When I got back I wasn’t feeling amazing and had to have a vegetable.'

'New York is great for being healthy,' Hadid continued. 'I have a Juice Press right around the corner and I make my own food all the time. But burgers and fries are my weakness.'

This past January Hadid took to Instagram and shared a sexy pic of her in the ring showing off her tight abs with her boxing gloves draped around her neck as she trained for her feature Vogue story.

'Took @Voguemagazine to my home away from home - @gothamgym,' she posted. 'So excited to be a part of #Voguefit, hoping to inspire others to find what they love to do to stay healthy and strong in 2015!'
