A variety of stars made glamorous appearances at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic on Saturday.

Lauren Conrad, Selma Blair and Nina Dobrev led the red carpet arrivals in their stylish dresses - with Nina and Lauren standing out in colourful looks and Selma oozing sophistication in a strapless number.

Lauren, 29, was radiant in a plunging sunshine yellow dress which was perfect for the event which took place at Will Rogers Park in Pacific Palisades.

Her lightened blonde tresses looked glossy in waves around her shoulders and she wore a nude make-up palette with dramatic eyeliner flicks.

Selma meanwhile opted for a chic gingham print pencil dress with pockets and wore her brunette locks in a half-up do.

The Cruel Intentions star wore dramatic red lipstick and smokey eye make-up to glam up the look.

Vampire Diaries star Nina wore a flirty blue dress with white stiletto heels and similar to Selma wore her long dark locks with a portion pinned up.

The 26-year-old beauty carried an oversize grey clutch to finish her look.

The sixth-annual event also saw actresses Jaime King, Victoria Justice and January Jones make stylish appearances at the sunny outdoor sporting spectacular.
