'Was she faking it?' Vicki Gunvalson turns the tables on RHOC co-star Tamra Judge as she questions her 2012 cervical cancer diagnosis

  • This week Tamra declared she had given up on her friendship with Vicki
  • It comes amid on-going speculation about Vicki's ex Brooks Ayers health status, who was at the centre of a 'fake' cancer storyline this season
  • Now Vicki has responded by raising questions about Tamra's 2012 cervical cancer diagnosis
  • Ayers says he has stage 3 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma and has refuted claims he is faking his illness

Vicki Gunvalson was at the centre of the drama in season 10 of The Real Housewives Of Orange County, with her co-stars suspecting her now ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers was lying about his cancer diagnosis.

But now the Bravo reality star has hit back at her RHOC co-star Tamra Judge, who this week declared she had given up on their friendship.

Turning the tables on her former friend, Vicki, 53, brought up the mother-of-three's cervical cancer diagnosis in 2012, writing on her Bravo blog: 'No one at that time ever asked for [Tamra's] medical records, and since then we haven't heard anything about it, does that mean she was faking it for attention?

'I mean if you are diagnosed with cervical cancer isn't that pretty serious?'

Vicki, who in an episode of RHOC sat with Brooks while he showed Tamra a copy of what he claimed was a medical document proving he did indeed have cancer, continued: 'Should we ask Tamra for her medical records to see if in fact she really had cervical cancer and lumps in her breasts?

'No! That would not be normal behavior and we trust that Tamra told us the truth,' she concluded, before adding: 'Just interesting we haven't heard anything about it since then.'

Tamra, 48, told Dr. Oz in a televised interview in 2012 that she had her breast implants removed because she wanted to 'take back control of her body' and because she had been diagnosed with cervical cancer.

Tearing up, she told the TV specialist: 'I had a little health scare. I was going through this divorce. I had lumps in my breasts and I had cervical cancer than had to be removed.'

She also explained to Dr. Oz that she didn't want to talk about it on RHOC and didn't tell her mother or even her children about the health issue and just hoped that it wouldn't return.

Meanwhile Vicki explained how the whole debacle has taken its toll: 'This whole cancer story with Brooks really has made me upset. I mean who questions someone's private health and their treatment plan? Is this normal behavior by grown adults?'

Vicki remained defiant in standing by her now ex boyfriend and his claim that he has stage 3 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. (Brooks is appearing on an E! News next week to discuss his illness, having previously insisted he is not faking cancer).

'My stance is I do not believe he faked cancer, as there are way too many people involved, way too many doctor visits and way too many doctor reports which would be very difficult to falsify,' Vicki wrote.

'As I said at the reunion [taping], I didn't have enough information that he does have cancer, and I didn't have enough information that he doesn't. Brooks became very private with his health information the last few months of our relationship, which made it difficult for me to discuss this with him.'

In Tamra's blog post on Wednesday she revealed she had finally given up on her friendship with Vicki, writing: 'I have decided to cut Vicki from my life. I just can't do this anymore, it's emotionally exhausting and I don't trust her.'

'I think the worst part is Vicki tossed her own daughter under the bus and called her a sh** stirrer for a lie Vicki clearly told.'

'There is nothing worse than covering for a man that is lying about something as serious as cancer and especially to the extent it was taken too.'

Vicki also came up against 31-year-old co-star Meghan King Edmonds who called her a 'filthy vile human' on Twitter this week.

Meghan - who has continually questioned Brooks' and Vicki's contradicting stories of his medical treatments - lashed out after watching the season finale on Monday.

The drama will continue on Monday when the women come together for the first part of the RHOC reunion show on Bravo.
