Rumours circulated this week that she'd enjoyed a hot fling with One Direction star Harry Styles.

And while Nicole Scherzinger has yet to speak out on the reports, the singer did seem in great spirits as she enjoyed a girls night out in New York on Friday.

The dressed down star couldn't wipe the smile from her face as she had a cultural evening, watching the Live Orchestra rendition of Back to the Future at Radio City Music Hall.

Nicole went casual for her fun night out, teaming cropped trousers with a low-cut white top layered underneath a leather-sleeved coat.

The former Pussycat Doll ditched the heels in favour of some slip-on pumps, adding just a touch of glam with her black and gold shoulder bag and a slick of bright pink lip colour teamed with shimmering eyes.

The star told her Twitter fans she was enjoying a 'friday night date night' with her pal at the concert.

Nicole has so far not commented on the rumours that she hooked up with 1D star Harry Styles, when he was just nineteen years old.

Nicole and Harry, who is now 21, have a 16-year age gap, but The Sun claimed this week that that didn't stop them enjoying a steamy fling while Nicole was on a break from Lewis Hamilton, 30, who she split from permanently in February after seven years of dating.

A source said: 'They had a dalliance at the end of the 'X Factor' in 2013 and met up again early last year. Harry was obviously very taken by Nicole who is stunning and he had always looked up to her.

'She was a guest judge on 'X Factor' at the time One Direction were formed and has always claimed credit for putting the band together, even though Simon Cowell says it was his idea.

But friends close to the former Pussycat Dolls beauty, who was recently linked to Ed Sheeran, 24, insist their romance was never serious.

One insider told The Sun: 'Yes they did snog and got on well, but they never dated.'
