And Kesha showed off her sightly pins once again on Friday as she continued her jet-setter lifestyle with a holiday to Cannes, France. 

The 28-year-old singer looked as though she'd spent the morning working out as she dared to bare in a pair of skimpy black shorts.

Going make-up free for the outing, the American songwriter looked the picture of happiness as she smiled and laughed while walking along with a female friend. 

Opting to keep her shoulders covered in the sun-soaked climes, Kesha teamed the tiny shorts with a graphic black T-shirt and pink trainers. 

Her signature blonde locks looked as though they were still a little wet as she pulled her tresses back into an effortless plait.

The TiK ToK hit-maker looked more than comfortable in her own skin, despite opening up to Vogue earlier this year about a previous eating disorder that saw her admit herself to rehab last year. 

'I’ve had a lot of ups and downs. It’s been quite a journey. I went to a dark place,' she candidly explained.

'There was a lot of not eating—and I started to think being hungry to the point of feeling almost faint was a positive thing.'

The Timber crooner added that the compliments she was receiving about her figure did not make it any easier as she said: 'The worse it got, the more positive feedback I was getting. Inside I was really unhappy, but outside, people were like, “Wow, you look great."'

Meanwhile, it emerged last month that Kesha's lawyers had asked a judge in New York to issue a temporary injunction that would allow her to reignite her music career even as her legal battle with Dr. Luke continues.

The Take It Off singer filed a sexual assault civil suit against the super producer in Los Angeles last October alleging he had drugged and raped her and threatened to take away her publishing rights.

Now her legal team is arguing, according to the NY Daily News, that the pop star shouldn't be penalized professionally as the lawsuit drags on, arguing that 'unless the court issues this injunction, Kesha will suffer irreparable harm, plummeting her career past the point of no return.'

Dr. Luke, real name Luke Gottwald, has denied the allegations and has not been charged with amy crime. He has also lodged his own defamation lawsuit in New York, saying the singer had fabricated the supposed incidents in an extortion scheme to get out of an exclusive recording contract.
