'That's awkward!' Drake spotted at same nightclub as Karrueche Tran whom he famously dissed in beef with her ex Chris Brown

Drake was seen enjoying the night scene at Mr. Nice Guy in West Hollywood on Friday night - and so was model Karrueche Tran.

The ex-girlfriend of Chris Brown showed up at the trendy celebrity haunt probably without a clue that the Canadian musician was inside.

Drake, 28, famously used Karrueche, 27, in his track Live From The Gutter, which dropped in mid-September, to have a dig at Brown.

The Toronto native rapped on the track, released as part of his What A Time To Be Alive mixtape with Future: 'This is for my n****s on that bulls**t and that nonsense. This is for my dawgs that go Karrueche with the chopsticks.'

Brown responded on social media, writing: 'I'm too blessed for the bulls**t. People who have had to sit and watch me for years do me and watch their females actually love me always show their insecurities.'

Drake and Brown have been locked in a feud for a long time.

In June 2012, the pair were involved in a brawl inside a New York nightclub over the rapper dating the hip-hop star's ex Rihanna.

Punches - and bottles - were thrown after Drake returned a bottle of champagne sent over to him by Brown with a note that said: 'I'm f***ing the love of your life.'

Earlier this year, he also claimed during a radio interview that he was responsible for Drake becoming famous.

Drake has also been feuding publicly with rapper Meek Mill.

In an interview published just this week, he explained what he meant when he said he 'signed up for greatness' as he tried to rise above the war of words.

'With music, especially, I've come to the conclusion that I'm a vessel to deliver emotion to people,' he told W magazine.

'I want to provide the background music to your life as you live it. I'm there for you in heartbreak and tragedy and joy. The thought of being remembered is what keeps me going,' he added.

'What I was trying to say is, the negatives don't matter—it's history that counts.'
