But Halle Berry has bounced back from her disappointment, making the most of some quality time with her family on Saturday as she joined her husband Olivier Martinez and their adorable son Maceo for a family outing to a Halloween fair in Los Angeles.
The 49-year-old actress went hand-in-hand with the two-year-old, who was clad in a cute bumblebee inspired outfit as they enjoyed the food and festivities on offer.

Halle was dressed down for her family outing, rocking a plain T-shirt with stripe detailing and baggy cropped trousers.
The screen star wore her hair pulled back in a messy bun and showcased her natural beauty by going make-up free.
She paired her low-key sweatpants with some matching flip-flops and donned a pair of Aviator shades and some wooden beaded bangles for extra glamour.

Halle - who also has a daughter, Nahla, from her previous relationship with Gabriel Aubry - was spotted loading up on toppings as she purchased some hotdogs to snack on.
The Oscar-winning star blended in with the crowd in her casual look, seeming every inch the doting mother as she fussed over little Maceo.
Halle previously revealed her son was her 'miracle' baby and explained that her seven-year-old daughter Nahla's prayers might have had something to do with it.

She said during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show: 'I didn't think it was possible to have another baby and I thought for sure I had a need to never get married again. So I've learned never to say never.'
'Nahla prayed and prayed for like a year and a half for a baby and a bunk bed, and she got both of those things.
'Only her prayers could have done this. I didn't think it was possible at my age, honestly.'
