'This is nothing against Khloe. This is for the celebrities that are coming to see Lamar. They should know they’re taking time away from Lamar’s children,' World Peace said in an interview with the Los Angeles News Group.

He then explained his position on the matter by saying; 'Not every Kardashian needs to be around. They need to keep it simple, so Lamar’s children can see him whenever they want to see him. They’re waiting in line to see their own father.'

Khloe has been by Odom's side since Tuesday night, while Kim Kardashian was at the hospital with her mother Kris Jenner from Tuesday through Thursday and then again on Saturday when the two were joined by Kendall Jenner and Khloe's friends Malika and Khadijah Haqq.

Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner also flew out to Las Vegas to see Odom in the hospital last week.

World Peace - who has not been to visit Odom - said his brother was banned from seeing the basketball star despite the fact that he has known him most of his life.

He also praised his Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant and their coach Mitch Kupchak for visiting Odom last Tuesday after they played an exhibition game on Tuesday - before Odom's children Destiny and Lamar Jr. had arrived in the city with their mother Liza Morales and Odom's aunt JaNean Mercer.

World Peace seemed to suggest he was bothered by the way the Kardashians were acting in an interview with Don Lemon on CNN last week, but said he was going to bite his tongue out of respect for his friend.

The 35-year-old basketball player has done his best to avoid any conflict in his life ever since changing his name in 2011, releasing a statement shortly after that said; 'Changing my name was meant to inspire and bring youth together all around the world.'

World Peace had multiple on-court incidents during his early years in the league, most notably a 2004 brawl during which he punched a Detroit Pistons fan. He was subsequently suspended from the league for the remained of the season.

He was also arrested for domestic violence in 2007, which resulted in him being sentenced to jail for 20 days and another suspension from the league.

He is also the man that brought Odom and Khloe together, as the pair met at a Welcome to LA party that was thrown in 2009 when World Peace joined the Lakers.

They met on August 27 and married exactly one month later.

Odom has showed immense improvements over the past few days according to his family and is expected to begin physical therapy and rehabilitation soon to deal with the injuries he suffered after he was found unconscious and face down on his bed at a brothel outside Las Vegas last Tuesday.
