Ivanka Trump's son Joseph celebrated his second birthday in style with two cakes at his party to ring in his major milestone - proving you can never have too much of a good thing.

The 33-year-old mogul and her husband Jared Kushner, 34, were filmed bringing out Joseph's homemade cakes on Friday as family and friends gathered around their dining room table to sing Happy Birthday to the little boy, who officially turned two on Wednesday.

Ivanka, who recently announced that she is pregnant with her third child, proudly shared the clip on her Instagram page, writing: 'Happy birthday little Joseph!'

In the video, Joseph can be seen gleefully sitting next to his four-year-old sister Arabella as his parents light the candles on his birthday cakes - one of which Ivanka baked and decorated herself.

The other cake, which was covered in pale pink icing, may have been a consolation for the little girl who already celebrated her own birthday in July.

The clip has received nearly 17,000 likes since it was posted, with many fans taking a moment to praise Ivanka for being such a doting mother.

'Thanks again Ivanka for sharing your private life with us you have a lovely family,' one person wrote, while another added: 'Ivanka made a Duncan Hines cake for baby's party at home. #keepitsimple.'

The day before her son's birthday party, Ivanka took to Instagram to share a photo of the blue cake featuring toy cars that she created for Joseph.

'After a long day in DC, I'm deeply grateful to Mr. Duncan Hines (and some blue fondant) for enabling me to whip up a little cake for Joseph's birthday party tomorrow. It's not too pretty but it'll get the job done! #womenwhowork #DIY,' she wrote.

And many people commended her for using cake mix from the box instead of buying a decadent creation from a bakery.

'I admire you for going to Mr Duncan instead of a high end bakery... A mothers loving touch cannot be replaced,' one person wrote, while another added: 'It's soooo cute that you did this for your son. [sic]'

The executive vice president of development and acquisitions for the Trump Organization also gave her 639,000 Instagram a glimpse of their family traditions as she revealed with another photo that her children get cake - and spaghetti for their birthdays.

Ivanka posted a precious picture of her and Joseph sharing a strand of spaghetti, explaining: 'Every year for the kids' birthdays, we make a special spaghetti lunch (symbolizing a long life). Jared and I come home from the office to eat and open what we think - and hope! - will be their favorite present.'

The soon-to-be mother-of-three first honored her son's birthday on Wednesday by sharing an image of him as a newborn.

'Happy Birthday to my little Joseph,' she wrote. 'It’s hard to believe that 2 years has passed since this photo was taken - but you'll always and forever be my little baby boy! [sic]'

The adorable snap, which she shared on Wednesday morning, has already received more than 6,000 likes in just two hours.

And one follower read into Ivanka's post, speculating that the businesswoman was hinting that her next baby was a girl.

Ivanka, who has a ton on her plate with her lifestyle collection, philanthropy, and her 69-year-old father Donald's presidential campaign, is not slowing down despite her busy schedule.

She recently enjoyed a festive day out with her family at an apple orchard, and documented their adventure on Instagram.

In the shot, which she captioned 'the perfect fall day', the fashion designer was seen lifting Joseph so he could pick an apple from a tree.

The on-the-go mom regularly posts sweet photos of her kids and Jared on Instagram, and recently shared a shot of her having breakfast with Joseph as Arabella hides away from the camera on her lap.

Ivanka's kids live quite the jet set life, traveling to Italy, the Trump-owned Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, and Aspen, Colorado this year alone.

However, Joseph's birthday parties tend to be more casual, family oriented affairs.

Last year, Ivanka and Arabella made a blue cake with car cut-outs for the child's first birthday, and casually celebrated the milestone in their Manhattan apartment.

Still, the business model pulled out all the stops to announce her third pregnancy, posting an adorable video of her, Joseph, and Arabella sharing the news on Facebook.

In the clip, her eldest child shouts 'Baby one!' as she holds up the number, followed by Joseph shouting 'Baby two!' and then Ivanka joyfully exclaiming 'Baby three'.

Her father Donald also took some time out from his campaign schedule to wish his daughter congratulations on her big news.

'So happy about my daughter @IvankaTrump’s announcement that she will be having a baby this spring,' he wrote on Twitter.
