The NFL interview that's NSFW: Cincinnati Bengals players caught stripping down for the showers in the background of locker room interview

  • NFL Network journalist went into the Cincinnati Bengals locker room on Sunday to interview cornerback Adam 'Pacman' Jones
  • In the background, at least three Bengals players were caught stripping nude to take showers
  • While locker room interviews are routine, TV crews usually make sure everyone is fully clothed - or at least out of the frame - before filming

The NFL had some explaining to do Monday morning, after showing some serious nudity on live television.

Following Cincinnati's defeat over Buffalo on Sunday, NFL Network broadcaster Albert Breer went into the Bengals' locker room to interview cornerback Adam 'Pacman' Jones.

For about a minute, Pacman gave his perspective on the victory, but it's likely only a few heard what he had to say since cameras caught several of his teammates stripping nude in the background.

Even the NFL commentators were taken aback by the show of skin, with one saying 'Wowie, zowie, what an interview' after the clip ended.

'Yeah, that was interesting,' another commentator chipped in, before awkwardly changing the subject.

While locker room interviews are routine following NFL games, television crews usually make sure that everyone is done showering and fully clothed - or at least out of the frame - before the  cameras start rolling.

The interview has since been shared in multiple clips online, with both casual viewers and even Bengals players alike expressing their frustration with the NFL Network for inadvertently showing nudity.

'Why do I have to explain to my kids why their dad is naked on tv?' Bengals offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth tweeted Monday morning. '@nflcommish ?? @nflnetwork ?? Time for a media policy change!!'

While such display of nudity on broadcast television would likely incur an FCC penalty, the agency typically does not enforce such regulations on cable television, such as the NFL Network.
