SPOILER ALERT: The Walking Dead features bloody invasion of Alexandria as marauding pack of Wolves attack safe zone

Bloodshed and murder descended on the town of Alexandria on Sunday night's episode of The Walking Dead as a pack of invader Wolves threatened to wipe out the safe zone occupants.

But killing queen Carol Peletier showed off all her deadly skills as she slayed the armed invaders one by one with the help of Morgan to stay alive and survive another day.

With Rick and the group's best fighters leading hundreds of zombies away from Alexandria the town was easy prey for the raiders, who told victims they were 'freeing them'.

The episode, titled JSS, began with Enid standing in front of a broken down car and zombies approaching her from both sides.
