Her little action man! Famke Janssen, 50, dresses her pet dog Licorice in army gear for a city walk as she shows off her slim figure in red lace mini

She's starred opposite some of Hollywood's toughest leading men including Pierce Brosnan's Bond and Liam Neeson in Taken.

And when she's not on set, Famke Janssen likes to have her own mini action man nearby - her beloved dog Licorice. 

For an evening stroll on Monday, the 50-year-old star dressed her pet pooch in an army jacket, to keep him cosy as they walked around Soho, New York.

While Licorice was in his Kanye West-inspired camo, the pooch's owner was glam in a red mini dress.

Famke showed off her svelte figure and long legs in the pretty lace number, which she teamed with opaque tights and lace-up flats.

A classic black coat kept her warm for the walk, while the actress styled her dark glossy locks into tumbling curls.

A slick of shimmering eye shadow finished off the glam ensemble, as the actress walked side by side with her beloved dog. 

The X-Men star and Licorice are each other's constant companions and even starred together in a PETA campaign to promote not leaving your pets alone all the time. 

It's been a busy year for Famke, who first shot to fame twenty years ago as Xenia Onatopp in Goldeneye.

She's spent the past couple of months shooting action comedy Going Under alongside Bruce Willis and Game Of Thrones hunk Jason Momoa.

The talented actress also recently joined the cast of acclaimed TV drama How To Get Away With Murder, with her character Eve Rothlow introduced for season two.

Playing the death row attorney and former classmate of Viola Davis‘ lead Annalise Keating, was a dream come true for Famke, and in a recent interview with The Wrap, she admitted the fan reaction has been the icing on the cake:

'I live in New York, so I walk down the street a lot and have a lot of contact with people, just being face-to-face with them. So I always get the immediate reaction from them,' she explained.

'People are very verbal and open, generally about their feelings. I have to say, it’s been so fun to see. People were kind of shocked and excited. And they loved that Annalise found somebody who was on par with her, and strong like she is. It’s been really fun'
