Stuart in shock Big Brother eviction

Big Brother lovers Stuart and Michelle were back in each other's arms today after "chicken Stu" was booted out of the house in a surprise eviction.

The 20-year-old student was evicted just two days before the show's final after receiving the least votes of the five remaining housemates to win so far this week.

It came as a complete shock to the house, who were enjoying a party when Stuart was ordered into the diary room and told he would be leaving the house immediately.

The long haired lover was not even given chance to say goodbye to his fellow housemates or explain what was happening, before he was told to leave.

Stuart was then given a grilling by the show's host Davina McCall over his relationship with 23-year-old Michelle - unaware that she was lurking in the background.

But as last night's show finished, she stepped forward and the two quickly locked themselves in a passionate clinch - kissing and hugging for several minutes.

It was clearly an emotional moment, but during his chat with Davina, Stuart had remained coy over his time in the house.

He admitted that initially he had been reluctant to get into a public relationship, but that eventually he had given in.

"When you want to be a certain way but you can't, it is pretty difficult," he said.

Asked who he thought wore the trousers in their relationship, he joked: "Need you even ask that question!"

However, he denied Michelle was a bunny boiler.

And he refused to be drawn on what happened when they enjoyed a steamy session under the dining room table - even though he was told that viewers had "heard quite a lot".

The session even prompted some bookmakers to pay out on the two having had sex, but Stuart said: "I am not saying a word. Please don't make me listen to anything!"

He was also coy about the pair's alleged "secret romps".

"I can just feel my mum's stare," he said.

Asked if the relationship had a future, he replied: "Most certainly - definitely, yeah."

The other housemates - unaware of what was going on - heard the crowd erupt as Stuart left the house.

Confusion briefly reigned, with Shell, Dan, Nadia and Jason convinced that Stuart had actually won the show, rather than been evicted.

Stuart, who got four As at A-Level and plans to stay on at university after leaving the Big Brother house, has said he aims to be a millionaire by the age of 25.

The long-haired lover and his friends call themselves "Team Handsome" - although Michelle has already warned him not to "look twice" at his female admirers.

It was revealed that by the time the phone lines had closed last night, 1,927,189 viewers had voted and 134,337 of them - 7% of the total - had voted for Stuart to win.

Nadia is now the 1/12 favourite to win Big Brother, according to bookmakers William Hill, with Jason at 8/1, Daniel at 12/1 and Shell the 25/1 outsider.
