Miley Cyrus frequently campaigns for The Happy Hippie Foundation, which she founded to raise money and awareness for homeless youth, LGBTQ youth, and other vulnerable populations.

So it's no surprise that the star was spotted front and center on Sunday at the 13th Annual LA County Walk to Defeat ALS, supporting her trainer Mari Winsor.

The 22-year-old donned a sweet, hand-decorated T-shirt that read 'I heart Mari,' and was even spotted onstage as the star - credited with popularizing Pilates - led the warm-up for the day's events.

Miley wore a fitted, short-sleeved white T-shirt with colorful embellishments, which showed a bit of the singer's taut stomach.

She coupled the team shirt with a pair of form-fitting galaxy patterned leggings, that highlighted her toned pins.

The former Disney Channel star dressed comfortably for the walk, finishing off her look with a pair of pink and blue Nike sneakers.

The recent MTV Video Music Awards host also sported a bright pink lipstick, and at times hid her eyes behind a pair of black and white patterned sunglasses.

She sported a wide grin throughout the event, and seemed to be enjoying herself as she pumped up the crowd during the day's warm-up.

She coupled those with a pair of loose-fitting black sweatpants as well as black and grey Nike sneakers, and wore her blonde tresses styled straight.

Mari, who has also trained Emma Stone, Dakota Johnson, and Marisa Tomei, was recently diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) - often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

It is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe.

On her team page, Mari opened up about her diagnosis, admitting she was 'absolutely shocked' when she found out.

'Just about the same time people across the world started throwing buckets of ice water over their heads, I was diagnosed with ALS. At first I thought - how could this be happening to me?' she said.

Mari continued: 'My life has been devoted to health and fitness. I have shared my ‘fountain of youth’ secret, Winsor Pilates, with my clients in Los Angeles as well as with those worldwide.'

However, the fitness expert later shared: 'Now that I know what it is, I can step up and fight with everything I have.'

Following the lively warm-up - led by Mari - she and her team, including Miley, headed out for the walk, which took place at Exposition Park in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Miley recently announced a tour for her latest album - Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz - which she dropped as a surprise following her hosting of the 2015 MTV VMAs.

She will next perform at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago on November 19.
