But he supported her from afar through social media posts and photos
Haley landed a spot on the dance team in June and the couple have been documenting her journey on social media ever since

NASCAR driver Ty Dillon showed his support for his beautiful wife on Saturday as she made her home debut as an NBA dancer.

Haley Dillon, 23, who married the driver in 2014, kicked off the home game for the Charlotte Hornets in her purple Honeybee uniform along side her teammates.

Ty, however, wasn't able to watch his petite blonde wife from the front row, as he was competing at the XFINITY series race in Kansas City.

But that didn't stop 23-year-old Ty from sending out messages of support for Haley through Twitter and Instagram.

'So proud of my smoking hot wife @HaleyKDillon she cheered her first game as @hornets @thehoneybees,' Ty wrote on Twitter.

He also shared a photo of his beautiful wife in her Honeybees uniform on Instagram.

'I'm so happy for my wife @haleykdillon conquering her goals her first home game was tonight I'm a very lucky man!' he wrote as the caption to the photo.

Supportive: But Ty still sent out several messages of support over social media, including one in which he called Haley his 'smoking hot wife'

Haley, who landed a spot on the squad on June and has shared her journey with the team ever since.

Her loving husband and No 1 has celebrated her journey every step of the way with Tweets and Instagram posts.

Haley, too, has shown support for her husband, who is the younger brother of driver Austin Dillon, since their relationship began by attending several of Ty's races.

In one Instagram post, posted about two months ago, she calls Ty her 'smokin hot husband' as they posed on the race track.

It is believed that the couple began dating in 2012.
