James Corden goes hand-in-hand with his glamorous wife Julia as they sport low-key looks for date night at Vogue event

She's moved over to Los Angeles to support him since the actor began his high-profile role hosting The Late Late Show.

And Julia Carey and her husband James Corden have certainly been making the most of the showbiz lifestyle so far, putting in a joint appearance at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Show and Tea on Tuesday.

The British couple opted for minimalist chic outfits for the glamorous event, performing a quick change once inside the venue.

James, 37, first covered up in a brown T-shirt and a navy cardigan, paired with loose jeans and trainers.

The Gavin & Stacey joker clutched his wife of three years' hand protectively as they strolled along on their way to the bash.

Julia - who has children Max, four, and Carey, one, with the funnyman - opted for a simple white vest, a black lace skirt and a smart leather jacket, completing her ensemble with T-bar heels.

When the pair emerged following the Vogue event, they were wearing altogether different ensembles.

TV personality James went for an all-black outfit save for a grey T-shirt, while Julia slipped into a navy silk number.

The blonde beauty paired her polo-neck dress with mesh peep-toe heels and a white handbag.

James has seen his profile soar in the US since signing a £3 million deal to host The Late Late Show until at least 2020, after he took over the job from his predecessor Craig Ferguson.

His comedic sketches - which include him modelling underwear with ultimate boxer poster-boy David Beckham - have been a hit with fans.

And he has been talk of the town since his debut in March: guests on his chat show so far have included Tom Hanks, Mila Kunis and Kristen Stewart, among many others.

Reviewers have loved his full-on presenting style, British humour and quirky approach to interviews.
