They've been enjoying a sun soaked Miami getaway. 

But it was back to reality for Robin Thicke and girlfriend April Love Geary on Monday as the loved-up duo were seen out and about in New York City, ahead of the singer's performance on Live With Kelly and Michael. 

Stepping out in coordinating black ensembles, the couple didn't look too down-hearted about their return to the chillier weather as they walked along smiling together.

The last time we saw April Love Geary she was splashing about in the ocean in a skimpy bikini.

But now she's back in New York and is dressed for a chilly day in skinny jeans, a cosy knit, coat and of course a fabulous pair of boots. It's just the right time of year to invest in a new pair so if you haven't done yet then get to it.

April's over-the-knee beauties are by Stuart Weitzman and she's definitely not the first stylish star to be spotted in them. 20-year-old April showcased her endless model legs in black leggings and sexy thigh-high boots, though kept her look relatively casual with a salt and pepper scooped roll-neck sweater and a black jacket with leather panels along the arms. 

Her ombre tresses were worn in natural waves around her face, which was left completely make-up free. 

Robin kept his look equally relaxed in black jeans and a leather biker jacket, his neck kept warm with the aid of a navy scarf.

Despite the slightly grey skies, the Blurred Lines crooner maintained his superstar demeanour by shielding his eyes beneath a pair of aviator sunglasses. 

The 38-year-old star was in the city to appear on morning TV show Live With Kelly and Michael, and the singer certainly made his visit one to remember as he serenaded the hosts with his new track, Back Together. 

Robin's time in the city comes just days after the singer was seen spending some time on a Miami beach with his model girlfriend and his five-year-old son Julian, who he shares with ex-wife Paula Patton.

The singer struck up a romance with his young girlfriend following a protracted split from wife Paula, with their divorce finalised in March 2014 after ten years of marriage, and a relationship of 22 years.

39-year-old Paula, Julian's mum, filed papers in October stating that they had reached a property settlement and a custody arrangement that is acceptable to both.

The couple originally announced their separation a year before the divorce went through, ending their long-term romance in February 2014.
