'That was dope!' Gwen Stefani lets her hips do the talking as she bashes her button during Battle Rounds on The Voice

Gwen Stefani let her hips do the talking on Monday's episode of The Voice.

The 46-year-old singer after a Battle Round duel stole a singer by using her bottom to press her red button.

'I'd love to work with you,' Gwen told singer Riley Bederer after stealing her from Pharrell Williams.

Riley was available after Pharrell chose Evan McKeel as the Battle Round winner following their duet of Higher Ground by Stevie Wonder.

‘That was dope!’ Adam Levine said as he tried to recreate Gwen's sexy steal move.

Adam had shown his own anger at watching 20-year-old Evan perform, telling him he sang Higher Ground ‘so unbelievably well, quite frankly it p***ed me off, because I can’t do it that well.’

Play with a polka dot print in a pleated skirt like Gwen

She may be going through a painful divorce, but Gwen Stefani hasn't missed a beat in the fashion department. Sticking to her tried and true quirky personal style, The Voice mentor paired a printed sweater with a polka dot pleated skirt both by Emanuel Ungaro.

We adore the metallic mini and it's figure flattering A-line silhouette. Gwen's bold mixed print ensemble works so well because she stayed in the gold and black color family with her top and bottom.

Rock a similar style with one of the picks in our edit below. We're partial to the midi length version at BCBGeneration. Emulate Gwen's look with a pattered blouse or go for a more subtle take by wearing it with a simple black shirt.

Whatever you do, you can't go wrong with options starting at less than $60.

Evan’s coach Pharrell picked him after calling his range 'stratospheric’, and insisted:‘He’s done something that I don’t think we’ve seen before.’

Handsome teenager Chance Peña may have almost got kicked off, but he already has one love-struck fan in pop superstar Gwen.

After the schoolboy sang a beautiful version of The Calling’s Wherever You Will Go along with identical twins Andi & Alex in the battle rounds, Gwen could not hide her feelings on the youngster’s ability to become a major pop heartthrob.

‘If I was 15 I’d have Chance’s posters in my locker,’ Gwen insisted, leaving him blushing. ‘I’d be drawing hearts with Chance and Gwen - I’d be losing my mind over you.

‘Obviously you need to stay on the show,' she stated.

Gwen almost had her heart broken when Chance’s coach Adam Levine instead chose the twins over him - but she was thrilled when Blake Shelton buzzed for the steal, keeping the teen in the show, telling him there is ‘something completely magic about your voice’.

As thrilled as she was to see the youngsters still in the running, Gwen suggested that it also gave Blake a major advantage in emerging triumphant this season.

‘He’s a heartthrob. Forget about it - you’ve won the show,’ Gwen told Blake.

Blake agreed - though could not help but tease the youngster for his fashion, pointing out that the twins had ‘blown his socks off’ as he was not wearing any.

‘We’re going to get you some socks - and we’re going to the finale, man,’ he insisted.

Her gushing for Chance was not Gwen’s only emotional outburst of the battle round - with her also sending a warning shot to her co-stars not to have harsh words against the competitors she most loves.

‘I’m so Mama Bear that when you guys have anything that’s a critique I’m seriously getting p***ed off,’ Gwen warned, despite her rival coaches being mostly encouraging to her hopefuls Korin Bukowski and Chase Kerby.

As Pharrell pretended to hide from her behind his chair, Gwen then turned on Adam Levine, calling him ‘so wrong’ for suggesting Chase struggled moving between the different sections of their haunting duet on Regina Spektor’s Samson for the battle round.

‘I seriously love Chase and Korin so much,’ Gwen insisted, her hand on her chest and her voice sounding emotional.

‘Like, I’ve never had that feeling on this show before where I feel so protective.’

Gwen sounded genuinely moved by their performance.

‘For me music is about emotions and there’s nothing more emotional than what I just heard,’ Gwen insisted.

‘I die for that performance.’

Further calling it ‘so intense and awesome’, she told them: ‘Whatever happens for me and my life, you touched me - both of you did. It was incredible.’

But she had to make a choice between them, finally picking Korin, admitting she was ‘pretty devastated’ to lose Chase.

For her other battle, Gwen had schoolboy Braiden Sunshine, 15, perform Howard Jones’s No One Is to Blame along with four-chair-turn Lyndsey Elm, insisting afterwards: ‘I promise there has not been a moment on this show where I have been more confused.’

But she finally picked Braiden, having told him in auditions it is ‘freaky’ that he is so young ‘because you are very instinctual with your emotions.’

‘Yeah, you have this ability to transfix people,’ Gwen’s special adviser Selena Gomez agreed. ‘And I would just encourage that.’

Turning to Gwen, Selena laughed: ‘It made me feel things!’

Lyndsey - who Pharrell Williams said had a ‘seductive voice’ - shared a special moment with Selena, showing her a video her brother had taken of her sending her a message of support six years ago.

‘It’s so amazing that six years later I’m standing in a room with Selena Gomez - it was just the coolest moment that I’ll never forget,’ she had said.

Blake had started the night by putting Blind Joe, 33, against Blaine Mitchell, 24, on Bob Seger’s Old Time Rock and Roll Bob Seger, calling them ‘two dudes who leave blood and guts up there’.

He also joked about the blind guitarist’s name, asking him: ‘Do I call you Blind Joe? It would be like saying, “Hey, Fat Blake”.’

But Joe had even more laughs when Pharrell asked them after their duet how he was doing.

‘I’m doing great Pharrell - you’re looking good tonight, man,’ he joked.

Blake called the duet a ‘dead tie’ but ultimately picked Blind Joe, saying later ‘he has something really special’.

Adam then stole Blaine - having earlier compared him to late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence - telling him: ‘You had a thing - I don’t know what it is, but I know I want to figure out what it is.’

He said later: ‘The dude has a vibe that is worth being a part of.’

Perhaps the biggest loss of the night came when mother-of-two Cassandra Robertson, 48, lost her battle round to Hungary’s Viktor Király despite high praise from all the coaches.

Calling her ‘effortless’, Pharrell had told her: ‘There was something magical and undeniable about your performance.’

Gwen also called her performance ‘crazy’, insisting: ‘Cassandra you were so meant to be on a stage. I’m blown away, it’s crazy.’

But despite their praise, none of the coaches pressed for the steal when Adam chose Viktor - who was also heartbroken to see her go, insisting: ‘Cassandra is absolutely amazing.’

Cassandra left her daughter wiping away tears before she left as she said: ‘I think I’ve proven to my children that it’s never too late to follow your dreams.’
