IBIZA, SPAIN

When it comes to the fashionista’s yearly, sunshine and champagne pilgrimage, Ibiza is the undisputed mecca. Every summer any London hipster worth their fashion stripes, swaps their Louboutin’s for Havaianas and heads to the party island.

The White Isle, as it’s more fondly known, is not only the fashion shoot destination du jour, for stylists, photographers and models, but it’s also their choice chill out zone. Hang with the cool kids on the terraces of super club Space, or join Alexa, Cara and friends in VIP at Pacha.

Alternatively charter a yacht and sail to Formentera, along with the Le Bons (Amber’s a huge fan) and the Jaggers (Jade is an island resident, after all), to celeb haunt, Juan y Andrea.

Where to stay? Check into hip hotel Es Vive to be in the thick of the action. Lounge on the stunning roof terrace, Aperol Spritz in hand and be part of the backdrop to a photo shoot.

Or get away from it all and hide out on the day beds, at serene finca, Cas Gasi, where Mario Testino and Kate Moss both stay.

The fash pack keep in touch with Ibiza's constantly changing scene by checking out the go-to guide as to what's hip and happening on the 'escena ibizenca' at EssentialIbiza, a website full of insider tips.

TULUM, MEXICO

Harem pants, man buns, beards, hipster tattoos, reiki and green papaya juice. All the pre-requisite ingredients for the ultimate boho getaway. The New York Times called it ‘the hot spot for fashion insiders.’ Tulum, on Mexico’s Mayan Riviera, once a drifting, hippie village, has completely transformed into an upmarket, style paradise.

The warm tides and white powdery sands, are irresistible to Vogue editors and chic celebs like Miranda Kerr, Sienna Miller and Jared Leto. While away the days immersing yourself in mindful activities like outdoor yoga, raw food detox cleanses and meditation, whilst self-consciously working out if Micheal Pitt is doing the downward dog right next you and if the girl sat opposite you at Hartwood, is in fact Kate Bosworth.

Check into one of the breezy, beach front bedrooms at (male model owned) hacienda hotel, Coqui Coqui, with its star studded clientele. Or post up at the Papaya Playa Project, a rustic design hotel, featuring 80 thatched roof cabanas and casitas. At night it transforms into a club, so you can dance till dawn with the New York hipster contingent.

MARRAKECH, MOROCCO

With its rock ‘n’ roll heritage - the Rolling Stones used to hide out here in the 60s - and its 'Summer of Love' legacy, Marrakech has more than earned its style credentials.

The inspirational draw of the exotic, kaleidoscopic souks, colourful spices, crumbling rose and ochre exteriors and majestic riads, has been enticing the fashion set for decades.

Yves Saint Laurent bought and refurbished the spectacular, Jardin Marjorelle in the 80’s. More recently Poppy Delevigne’s, Moroccan wedding guest list, included a stellar cast of fashion royalty, from Alexa Chung, Matthew Williamson, Julia Restoin Roitfeld, Mark Ronson to Princess Bea.

For celeb spotting check into chic, boutique hotel, El Fenn and lounge on the roof terrace, with a glass of mint tea, accompanied by Carey Mulligan and Maggie Gyllenhaal, who have both stayed here on retreats.

Maison MK is a hidden gem in the heart of the Medina and Palais Namaskar, famed for it’s incredible, feng shui spa on the outskirts of the city, are also firmly on the style traveller radar.

The fashion crowd can also be spotted at legendary restaurant Le Comtoir whose upstairs bar is the place to be for a pre-dinner aperitif and is full of beautiful people flirting in its Art Deco splendour.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL

Renowned as the habitat of the world’s most beautiful people, it should come as no surprise that the buzzing, Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, is on our list of fashionista hotspots.

Drink caipirinha cocktails by the achingly hip pool terraces at the Phillipe Stark designed Fasano Hotel. You’ll probably bump into Brit fashion sisters, model, Alice Dellal and designer, Charlotte Olympia, who grew up around the corner.

Or simply stroll down to Posto Nove on Ipanema Beach  - the spot where the models hang out. You might see Brazilian super models Gisele, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosia here too.

MIAMI, USA

Miami is world renowned as the go-to party destination for the fashion, celeb and music crowd. Choose your style tribe, the zen Bikram yoga gurus, the pumped sunrise South Beach runners or post-op, plastic-surgery princesses. Everyone’s invited.

The prime destination for glam pack stalking is Soho Beach House, a favourite haunt of Kate Hudson, Leonardo di Caprio and Anne Hathaway. Collins Avenue is lined with design hotels, like the beautiful, Shore Club complete with celeb restaurant Nobu on site.

Or head to The Villa by Barton G, formerly the opulent, Miami mansion of fashion designer, Gianni Versace. Expect to bump into some A-listers by the baroque swimming pool - Elton John and Madonna both have their own private suites here.

Also check out the infamous super clubs, hosting decadent club nights. LIV has been the venue for several Kardashian celebrations and Seaspice in downtown, throws a raucous, celeb filled Sunday brunch popular with the fashion crowd.
