'I do love you': Michael Turnbull finally reveals his feelings to The Bachelorette Sam Frost as pair share steamy kiss on hot springs date 

He's had trouble expressing his true feelings for Sam Frost.

But on Thursday night's finale of The Bachelorette Michael Turnbull finally confessed his love to Sam during a spa date - and was rewarded with a steamy kiss for his efforts. 

'I do love you. And I do love, most of all, the way you make me feel,' he said.

'There's no way on earth that I would have thought that I'd meet someone who I now care so much about,' he told her as they sipped champagne in the spa.

Confessing that it took a while for his feelings to warm up for the 26-year-old, he told Sam: 'The first week or two, I wasn't really sure because I didn't spend a lot of time with you.'

But the estate agent then put his heart on the line, revealing how his feelings had grown.

'I'm battling so many emotions right now. But, you know, having said that, I've just got to be honest and truthful to myself and not have any regrets and go all-in.

'So, you need to know now, Sam Frost, I do love you. And I do love, most of all, the way you make me feel,' he said before they shared a passionate kiss.

Despite being so open, Michael later admitted that he was still finding it difficult to wear his heart on his sleeve.

'I did realise, I'm falling in love with this girl. This is really happening,' he said in a piece to camera.

'To say the words, or tell someone that you love them, from me is just not a small deal.

'And, I'm at the point now where, you know... it's really hard.'

After their passionate date, Sam confessed that she was happy he'd told her he loved her.

'It is one of the nicest feelings ever. I know that if I choose Michael, in the end, I don't have to be fearful or worried because I know that he loves me back,' she said.

'I feel like it's helped me, making this huge decision, because now I know exactly where his heart lies.'

The couple's romantic pool pash came after an action-packed white water rafting ride as Sam attempted to bring out Michael's thrill-seeking side. 

And the 34-year-old attempted to throw himself into the adventuress outing, admitting Sam's 'spontaneity and excitable passion' was one of her most attractive qualities.  

Speaking afterwards, he revealed it had been a great experience to see Sam in her 'element'.

'She loves to do the adventure stuff,' he said, adding:  And that's what I love about Sam, because she brings that stuff out of me, because I don't normally do that.'
