She may not fly jets or ride limousines, but Charlotte — daughter of 16-time World Champion Ric Flair — may be destined for greatness. A latecomer to the industry her father helped revolutionize, Charlotte has kick-started her entrance into her father’s profession and made a name for herself in WWE in very short order.

Displaying a level of athleticism that few Divas in history can match, Charlotte first captured the attention of the NXT Universe. With her father watching on, Charlotte defeated Natalya at NXT TakeOver to win an eight-Diva tournament on May 29, 2014, and become the new NXT Women's Champion. In the months that followed, the self-proclaimed “genetically superior athlete” turned back one challenger after another, helping cement the women’s division as one of the most competitive in all sports-entertainment.

At NXT TakeOver: Rival, however, Charlotte’s remarkable 258-day reign came to an end at the hands of her former best friend, Sasha Banks. Despite losing the title, the second-generation grappling virtuoso remained one of NXT’s most highly regarded competitors.

In July 2015, Charlotte finally made her long-awaited debut as a full-time Diva in WWE, shocking the world when she joined forces with Paige and Becky Lynch in a stable known as PCB. Pit against rival forces like Team Bella and Team B.A.D., PCB helped usher in a genuine Divas Revolution in WWE.

As a reward for upending the other factions in a Three Team Elimination Match at SummerSlam, the PCB members were granted the opportunity to compete against each other in a No. 1 Contender’s Beat the Clock Challenge. Defeating Brie Bella in just 1:40, Charlotte notched the winning time and stamped her ticket for a Divas Title Match against reigning champion Nikki Bella at Night of Champions. There, Charlotte made history by ending Nikki’s record-shattering title tenure and taking home her first Divas Championship. 

Charlotte’s celebration on the next night’s Raw was cut short but an unlikely instigator, as Paige verbally blasted not only the Divas Champion but also their PCB teammate, Becky, and claimed responsibility for the surging popularity of the Divas division. The following week, on the Sept. 29 edition of Raw, the Divas Revolution imploded further when Team Bella interrupted Charlotte and Becky’s appearance on “Miz TV.” Paige emerged from the locker room to seemingly even the odds against The Bellas & Alicia Fox, only to then abandon Charlotte & Becky during a Six-Diva Tag Team Match. Though Natalya tried joining forces with the outnumbered team, Paige neutralized The Queen of Harts, leaving Charlotte vulnerable to a Rack Attack by Nikki Bella.

Will Charlotte avoid that same fate at WWE Hell in a Cell on Oct. 25, when she faces the “fearless” Bella in a championship rematch?

With or without the support of her peers in the division, Divas Champion Charlotte is bound to continue competing the only way she knows how … with flair!
