Court records obtained Thursday reveal that the warrant said prostitutes told police they believed Odom snorted cocaine in a bathroom while they were in the adjacent bedroom October 13. Brothel officials have told reporters that workers saw Odom drink alcohol and take supplements sold as 'herbal Viagra,' but no employees saw him take illegal drugs. The judge authorized police to obtain a blood sample from Odom (right being transferred from Las Vegas hospital), who had by then been taken by ambulance to a Las Vegas hospital.

The 21-year-old man who launched a sword attack on a school in Sweden and stabbed two teachers and two pupils stopped to pose for pictures with students before continuing his horrific spree. Wearing a mask and holding a sword already covered in blood, the attacker stands next to two young students at the school, seconds before stabbing a teacher, who died at the scene. Another teacher was rushed to hospital in in Trollhättan, north of Gothenburg, alongside the injured students, two boys aged 11 and 15. The 11-year-old later died from his wounds, local media reports. Police are now investigating if the killings were racially motivated as the man had 'expressed extreme-right wing sympathies' on social media and liked YouTube videos glorifying Nazi Germany.

Xu Suobao, 79, built the specialised wheelchair for his wife Zhoushu Di, 75, who has been suffering from rheumatism for nearly 40 years. NEW Pictures taken in 19th century Japan showing classic scenes of the country were actually shot in commercial photography studios and were designed to be sold to Western tourists. The images date back to the 19th century when up until then, little was known about Japan and Western photographers first travelled there. The collection of 200 pictures, is now on display at the Musuem of Photography in Berlin.
