Disney takes on Netflix: DisneyLife lets you stream films, TV shows and listen to soundtracks on all your devices for £9.99 a month
- Disney Life lets up to six people in a family stream Disney content
- This includes Disney Pixar, Disney Channels, box sets, books and music
- Every month, users will also be given a free Disney app download
- The service will be available on iOS and Android from November
For parents who have ever spent long car journeys trying to keep their young children entertained, Disney is coming to your rescue.
The UK branch of the firm has created an app called DisneyLife that gives up to six family members access to thousands of Disney films, TV shows, box sets, books and albums on mobile devices.
A subscription will cost £9.99 a month when the service launches in November, but users will also be given one download a month to use on installing other Disney apps.

In addition to this single app download, users will be able to download films and shows onto their devices to watch offline.
These downloads will work in a similar way to how the BBC iPlayer works. The content will be saved on the device for a limited amount of time before being automatically removed.
The service is launching in the UK in time for Christmas and will roll out to other European markets 'in the future.'
Disney was unable to tell MailOnline how long this period of time will be, nor would it reveal how much content will be available, or when the app is expected to launch elsewhere in Europe.

Other features of the app include the ability to watch and read in up to five different languages including English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
Each family member will be able to personalise the app by creating individual profiles using Disney characters.
The app will also include built-in controls so parents can set time limits on their children's profiles for weekday and weekend use.
DisneyLife is being made available on iOS and Android from launch, supporting Airplay and Chromecast, and other platforms are 'in development.'
Robert Iger, chairman and chief executive of The Walt Disney Company said: 'Families are accessing entertainment in completely new ways but their love for Disney and our unique characters and stories remains the same.'
Families can register their interest at the DisneyLife site.
