Bethenny Frankel takes a stroll through NY in fawn-colored blouse after 'suing rival company for copying her Skinnygirl brand'

Bethenny Frankel was looking carefree on Thursday - one day after TMZ reported she 'sued a couple for ripping off the name of her Skinnygirl brand.'

The Real Housewives Of New York City star appeared to be pining for summer as she walked around the SoHo area in light attire.

Bethenny, 44, was enjoying the mild weather and wore a fawn-hued, sleeveless blouse with dainty white collar and tight off-white jeans.

She carried a pale pink shawl that she obviously didn't need in those warmer 70-degree temperatures, along with her handy iPhone.

Deep purple pumps, a grey tote bag and bangles on both wrists completed Bethenny's accessory list.

She appeared chipper and in charge while crossing a busy street amidst the changing leaves of the trees.

Her outing comes one day after she reportedly sued Travis and Stacey Labarge for using her brand name Skinnygirl to sell weight loss tea, according to TMZ.

Bethenny started using Skinnygirl in 2009 when she included the word in the titles of two books she wrote offering women tips on how to stay slim.

After the Bravo reality series made her a household name, she launched a variety of Skinnygirl Cocktails in 2011 - and made a mint when she sold the drink line to Beam Global for $100 million, according to Forbes.

As TMZ reported, the lawsuit claims that it was Frankel's celebrity that made Skinnygirl the multi-million dollar company it is, and that the Skinny Girl Tea retailers are profiting off her fame.

When contacted by TMZ, Travis Labarge claimed it's a total coincidence that his products and Bethenny's brand have identical names.

Labrge told the website that he and Stacey 'generated their product name based on Google keywords for weight loss tea.'

He said they were not aware of the existence of Bethenny's Skinnygirl brand.
