The pair are rumored to have gotten engaged following son Sailor's birth, and seemed every bit the blissful couple as they stepped out together in New York City on Wednesday.

Liv Tyler, 38, and David Gardner looked stylish as they left their apartment together, sharing a kiss goodbye before going their separate ways.

Not photographed on the outing was their eight-month-old bundle of joy - or the couple's other children from previous relationships - as the two sported smiles while heading out into the city.

She coupled the eye-catching jacket with a collared, denim jumpsuit, worn with the trousers cuffed to just above her ankles.

The mother-of-two finished off her stylish look with a bright red lipstick, and seemed to be in good spirits as she showed off a big smile.

Meanwhile, David wore a fitted, olive green army jacket over top of a chic denim button down as he left on Wednesday.

He coupled those with a pair of black skinny jeans, finishing off the look with a brown leather boots as he carried a large, black leather duffle bag.

The pair share young son Sailor, who they welcomed in February, and each have one other son from a previous relationship.

Liv also has 10-year-old son Milo, with ex-husband British rocker Royston Langdon, and David has seven-year-old son Grey from his previous marriage to former Hollyoaks actress Davinia Taylor.

The two are rumored to have become engaged after The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King star has been seen sporting a massive diamond sparkler on her left-ring finger following the birth of their son Sailor.
