Keira kept warm in the chilly autumnal temperatures in a leather coat teamed with her statement grey trousers.

A simple black top was layered underneath, while the actress kept comfy in a pair of leather brogues. Mirrored shades topped off the quirky look, while the stylish star left her long brunette locks loose around her shoulders, and kept her makeup natural.

James was causal in a denim coat and jeans, with the proud dad taking charge of little Edie, carrying the five-month-old in a carrier strapped to his chest.

Keira strolled arm in arm with her husband as they enjoyed some time together before the Hollywood star headed to her day job on Broadway.

Keira and Klaxons band member James, welcomed their first child in May, and the busy actress didn't wait long before she headed back to work as she makes her Broadway debut in Therese Raquin, which officially opens at the end of October after previews.

Be trendy and warm with Keira's moto jacket by Acne

Truth is, we've been eyeballing this baby for a while.

And it's not because owning a leather jacket from the moto/ biker trend genius brand-- Acne is something of a life goal for us, but because it happens to solve the perpetual dilemma we face every winter.

That dilemma being: how to keep warm in the impossibly cold temperatures with just one jacket.

Those of you who feel our pain will understand that our trusty leather never seems to quite do the trick and while layering is always an option, the custom tight fight of the style dosn't always allow for it.

So thank heavens for Acne who solved this problem by creating an oversized, slouchy boyfriend fit moto jacket with a sumptuous black shearling lining.

Click right to buy Keira's leather dreamliner from Saks Fifth Avenue. We're not gonna lie, this beauty costs a pretty penny so we went hell for leather in our edit below with similar styles that won't cost a fortune.

She's treading the boards in The Roundabout Theatre Company's production of the classic story based on the Emile Zola novel, in which she plays the title role of a bored woman trapped in a loveless marriage who embarks on an affair with her husband's friend.

While Keira is relishing her time on stage, alongside her hugely successful film career, the star admitted ahead of the birth of her daughter that she wouldn't encourage her children to follow in her footsteps.

'I should imagine that if she wanted to act, I wouldn't have a choice but, no, I certainly wouldn't recommend it,' Keira told the Telegraph. 'It can be completely heartbreaking for most people who do it, because the amount of rejection is enormous.'

'And it doesn't matter what kind of person you are, it's impossible for that not to take a toll,' she added. 'Even if you're successful, you still have to go through a s-load of rejection. So I would say to my daughter: "Be a doctor or a lawyer -- something stable and useful.'''
