'Attracting these two blockbuster films cements Australia's place as one of the world's best filming locations,' Minister for Communications and the Arts Mitch Fifield said during a press conference.
'Australian crews and actors will also gain the skills and experience to further strengthen our capacity to produce high-quality films for Australian and international audiences,' he continued.
According to Pedestrian TV Foreign Minister Julia Bishop revealed the government would be supporting the two projects with a whopping $47.25 million.

Making the big bucks: The two Hollywood blockbusters would generate $300 million back into the Australian economy along with 3000 new jobs
The publication added that the two Hollywood blockbusters would generate $300 million back into the Australian economy during their stay Down Under.
While the films are expected to produce the high sum, they are also expected to generate 3000 jobs in the surrounding regions, which are yet to be announced by the government and Marvel.
The filming comes as a blessing for Hemsworth fans as Chris will relocate to the country for a longer period of time, following he and his wife Elsa Pataky's $7 million home purchase in Byron Bay, north New South Wales coast.

Earlier this year Chris said it was 'good to be back' in Australia after living in Los Angeles for seven years.
'And it's great. Quiet, coastal town - [it] couldn't be further from Hollywood, which is nice. A nice break,' he said about his Bryon Bay getaway home.
Last October he said: 'We're spending more and more time back in Australia and I definitely want the [three] kids to grow up here and spend time here.'
