But Emily Ratajkowski was back hard at work on her blossoming acting career, as she filmed scenes for her latest feature-length film, Cruise, on-location in New York on Monday.

Shooting a touching scene with co-star Spencer Boldman, the 24-year-old model and actress was dressed in a quintessentially eighties outfit - rocking a bowler hat and a pair of stripy culottes shorts.

Following up on the success of her roles in Gone Girl (2014) and this summer's We Are Your Friends, the aspiring actress is hard at work on the set of retro romance flick, Cruise.

Getting into character, the Blurred Lines beauty was dressed in a white low-cut, long-sleeved top and a pair of stripy, stone culottes shorts held up by black braces.

Emily rounded off her look with a pair black leather slip-on flats, while she accessorised with a small leather rucksack and a pair of chunky hooped earrings.

With her tousled brunette mane swept over to one side, the model topped off her on-point eighties look with a cute bowler hat.

Wearing a minimal and natural palette of make-up for the scene, Emily's striking natural looks were showcased during the shoot.

Meanwhile her co-star Spencer, 23, was dressed also dressed to embody the spirit of the eighties in denim jeans, a baby blue harrington over a white tee-shirt - topping his look off with slicked back hair.
