She has been working hard promoting her latest album.

And it seems that just spending some time in the arms of her other half was what Demi Lovato needed to get over the stress of the campaign trail.

Her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama posted an intimate snap of the pair in bed together on Tuesday.

The singer, 23, appeared to be blissed out next to her partner, her eyes shut and a smile playing on her lips.

As the actor, 35, leaned up on one elbow next to his love, whom he has been with on and off since 2010, he looked into the camera.

He captioned the shot: 'It must be EXHAUSTING to be that #Confident..'

Clearly proud of all her hard work on the album he added: 'This lil angel created an inspirational & emotional journey.. Then she sprinkled bad ass dust on it!'

He then asked his fans to go and buy her latest song from iTunes.

Interestingly, his cosy snap came just after Wilmer's ex had posted a shot of the pair enjoying a Halloween experience on Sunday.

Mandy Moore, 31, split with the From Dusk Til Dawn star in 2002 after a two-year courtship but clearly remained close.

They had enjoyed a night of fright at Halloween Horror Nights At Universal Studios.

'I've know this goof (aka @wilmervalderrama) since I was 15! And @rp1313 has been my bff for nearly 12 years.... So many indelible memories and stories with these 2. Always fun to catch up with an #HHN run.'

Mandy added another snap of the trio posing with pals, including Cupcakes and Cashmere's Emily Schuman, in front of one of the haunted houses.

Wilmer reposted the picture in his own Instagram feed and captioned it: 'A night of terror and turkey legs.. And the dude with the plastic knife. Great night with Great friends. #UniversalHHN.'

Demi appeared to have been on her way to Brazil while the two were enjoying their evening out.

She was spotted arriving in Sao Paulo on Monday.

No make-up Monday:Meanwhile Demi, who had been working, shared this fresh-faced snap, writing: 'Time for #NMM!! Send me your @devonnebydemi no makeup selfies!!!

The singer also shared a make-up free selfie to plug her latest beauty brand Devonne By Demi.

The pop star captioned the snap: 'Time for #NMM!! Send me your @devonnebydemi no makeup selfies!!! Go to Devonne.world for more info! Devonnebydemi.com.'

However it seems from the snap posted by Wilmer the pair had been reunited.

Also on Tuesday, Demi talked about her emotional new ballad, Father.

It has to do with her difficult relationship with her late dad, Patrick Lovato.

'Father, I’m gonna say thank you/Even if I’m still hurt,' she sings. 'I’m gonna say bless you/I wanna mean those words/Always wished you the best/I prayed for your peace/Even if you started this whole war in me.'

Patrick passed away in 2013. 'I was very conflicted when he passed because he was abusive,' she said. 'He was mean, but he wanted to be a good person… He wasn’t capable of raising a family, and it was because of his mental illness. To know that it wasn’t fully his fault really was saddening to me, and I wanted to write about it. I wanted to process it.'
