'It scares me!' Pregnant Kristin Cavallari admits she's daunted by the idea of raising three children under four

She's definitely looking forward to the birth of her little girl next month.

But Kristin Cavallari has admitted that the thought of raising three children under four 'kind of scares' her.

The 28-year-old shoe designer and former reality star revealed that she's apprehensive about looking after her young brood alone while her NFL star husband Jay Cutler, 32, continues with his football career.

Looking to the future: Kristin Cavallari said that although she's excited about the birth of her daughter next month she's 'scared' about having three kids under four, in an Entertainment Tonight interview on Wednesday

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, she said: 'I'm not going to lie, three kids kind of scares me. I'm going to be alone with three children a lot, but we're just going to figure it out. I'm not the first mom to do this and I won't be the last.'

However, the former The Hills star believes three-year-old son Camden - her oldest child - will help her out a lot.

She added: 'He's really sweet, so I'm just hoping that he'll be my little helper and help me out as much as possible.'

Out with her boys: The 28-year-old took her two sons Jaxon, 17 months, and three-year-old Jay out to a park near their home in the Chicago suburb of Winnetka earlier in her pregnancy

And Kristin - who also has 17-month-old Jaxon with Jay, her husband of two years - is looking forward to adding a little girl to her brood next month and has already kitted out her nursery.

She explained: 'Everyone's really excited. I'm already getting the nursery ready! I didn't think I would be a big "pink" girl but everything is pink. There's a chandelier. I'm getting all the pink and purple clothes.

'I'm just excited to have a little mini me and now I have someone that I can give all of my stuff to, which is great.'

Sharing her joy: Kristin posted this selfie on Wednesday, captioned: 'It's hard to believe I will be a mom of 3 in just a few short weeks. I owe so much to my babies...they have changed me in so many ways for the better'

Meanwhile, Kristin previously revealed Chicago Bears quarterback Jay is unlikely to be there when she gives birth because he is scheduled to have an away game.

She said: 'My mom will be there. Hopefully it will be easy [and] I'll be in and out. If he's not there it will be unfortunate, but I don't think I can say, "Babe, you can't go to Green Bay or wherever you're going to be, I need you home with me." '

And while she didn't reveal her daughter's name she did admit the rumours that she naming the tot after a dog are true.

'Yes, I did hear our daughter's name at a baby store and the owner had a named her dog this and she said "I wanted to name my little this name but had never had a little girl." And I remember thinking at the time, I love this name, and here we are, three-and-a-half years later.'

Meanwhile, on Wednesday she shared a photo of herself in a tight black dress, revealing her baby bump.

Kristin captioned it: 'It's hard to believe I will be a mom of 3 in just a few short weeks. I owe so much to my babies...they have changed me in so many ways for the better.'

Kristin shared a photo of herself wearing the Calissa boot on her Instagram account, while noting how she will miss dressing her baby bump after her next child is born.
